i love the blacklight circus so much but i find it so difficult to worldbuild for :( it’s a video game..! aaand it has blacklight colors..! no more questions please.

“ditzy lives in toyland” is a thought we had before we slept last night
hm. well. maybe we don’t want woozy + co to be super similar to us… but i don’t think it matters?? all of our ocs have a piece of us. they’re ours
i did have some vague blacklightverse thoughts yesterday (? or today.) but it’s a little difficult to put into words.
i want woozy + co to map onto our Us more. but. they do not. whimsy is kind of the 🌑 (meant literally) (not emojicode) of them, and woozy is sort of the 🌕 ? but not exactly. and that’s not how it’s Supposed to be. woozy is the core of their Them. that’s not true of us anymore. but the ‘verse isn’t for us, currently. it was for us, then.
the way We work is like. snakeskin. and that’s not exactly what we have set up for woozy + co. it also doesn’t necessarily work with the ideas for the blacklightverse but it’s still a work in progress.
blacklightverse extremely personal and not entertaining game. keep photobook idea. adding on Sections (chapters) where certain characters are part of the story. main blacklight hub with all the woozy clones. collectibles and such.
witty and wit are in the school section. wit is a woozy clone and very directly represents 🍊🍐 of the Us. woozy is the 🌙.
chapters as doors ? in the blacklight house. might be too 🚪. could also be mirrors…. i like that. 🪞
no human representation of the nonwoozy characters. not sure what though. animals or orbs or shadows or whatever. maybe a combination or different ones for each chapter
thinking about school chapter (2015) and then online chapter (2015). maybe online 2015 and school 2017. summer 2017. school 2019. online 2021.
current chapter would be The Great Isolation and be a dating sim esque .. thing. super negative / negative / neutral / positive / super positive. interactions and relationship scale. the “ending” depends on the route taken. obviously. not sure what would count as a good end… maybe they’re not good or bad. they just Are.
