Rollback Yourself: An Open Letter to Trump
Dear Trump.
Honestly at this point any proper honorific has been stripped away. The way you have carried yourself in your current presidential position has been anything less than uncouth. If that is a word that you are not familiar with given your natural way with words I advise you google it or tune into Fox and Friends, I believe this week they will be discussing the letters F and U.
Today was already a day of remembrance within the LGBTQ+ community. Three years ago in Orlando Florida at the gay night club Pulse, 49 people lost their lives. In this month of Pride for those who are to celebrate for who they are on the rainbow spectrum. Some may not be able to taste the rainbow quite yet, but they are still celebrated even if they cannot raise their voice yet. Don’t worry I see you and you are valid.
Many communities across this nation have been fighting against the malicious injustices and police brutalities that have been thrust upon the black community all because of the color of their skin. Systematic racism has been apparent, police brutality has carried on and we have all simply nodded, maybe observed the horrific beatings and deaths all in the name of “justice.” But simply choose to silently bury their head in the sand. I can honestly say that I was one of those assholes. The point is not to merely stand by and ignore but to voice up “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! NO MORE!” And that is what the people are doing and yet you seem to want to dig yourself deeper and deeper into the shit stain that you already are.
Today, you rolled back an essential service that guaranteed the health and well being of the people all because you don’t think trans lives matter. In the middle of a pandemic. In the middle of a social justice movement. What made you think NOW was the time to strip healthcare? But, then again you found it necessary to tear gas PEACEFUL protesters to have a photo op with a sandwich...I mean bible. The two are easy to confuse especially by the way you held it.
Enough is enough. Silence is no longer an option and the voices of the oppressed will be heard. Can you hear it? The ghosts of Christmas past, present and future on ready to knock down your wall. This will not get them down, but rise above. Their voices will carry and you will not be able to drown them in your bunker, boy. Human rights are just that...a HUMAN RIGHT.

Together in solidarity. This is not the end. There is hope. Fear cowers in the face of it and each of you have it. You are here and there are others who will support you.
