Why can't 9S specifically use hair dye?? I just wanted to see how he looked blonde
The difference between 9S's and 2B's gameplay is funny because 2B's this whole weapon expert and combo demon with all these moves and then 9S chucks spears like a sniper and runs around body snatching or blowing shit up with his mind like this
Just watched a six hour recap of the drakenier series timeline and I'm inconsolable.
The pods fighting to keep the memory of 2B, 9S and A2 alive is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen and the fact that other players giving up their save data to offer other pods help in achieving this is everything to me.
This is why I could never hate humanity. We are a bottomless pit of care and love and consideration, and we're capable of doing so much for each other. This coming from the idea of people willingly deleting save data to help others is kind of hilarious but it's one of those little things that really strikes at the heart of what it means to be human, to me. I can only describe it as altruism, and it's beautiful.
Sidenote: while humans as a species are extinct, I wholeheartedly believe that humanity can and will never die. The spirit, what it means to be human on its granular level will always find a way to reemerge. They made those androids in their image, and when touched by what humanity used to be, the machines too. The indomitable nature of what it means to be human or have humanity will never go away in that universe, and as these new robots become self aware, they create souls, they become people and they live lives that are worth living and loving. There is just something so insistent and resilient about humanity that makes it so eternal and I love that.
