52. Favorite way to have your energon?

Sometimes I’ll toss a goodie in if I can find one; the chewy kinds that melt down are my personal favorites, just to give it some flavor other than rusted refiner. I do enjoy high-grade when it’s available, though; and that I’ll take straight.»
90. What makes you angry?
« Someone I care about going out of their way to get themselves hurt. Someone hurting the ones I care about and getting away with it because of their position in power. Someone obtaining a position of power when they don’t really deserve it, and then proving they don’t deserve it, but still holding onto that slot. Basically, an abuse of power.»
98. Do you collect anything?
« Mmm, not really. I used to enjoy picking up a little trinket from wherever I visited, sort of like a traveling scrap book, but I haven’t done that in centuries. It sort of lost its luster when I started looking around at what was really going on. But now, I’ve got a decent stack of human movies sitting around, so I suppose I collect the good ones of that.»

-A new day has just touched the slowly awakening city of Cybertron; the sun's rays hitting ruins and tall buildings alike, casting large and jagged shadows on everything beneath it. Sideswipe's frame is no different as it too is blasted with almost blinding sunlight as it zips down the open streets. Prowl had requested– more like demanded– the red hellion's presence earlier than usual for some kinda meeting.
Of course it's a meeting he's not invited to but someone has to stand around with an attitude and look imposing with a big gun. Sideswipe fits that bill splendidly, especially being woken up at the aft crack of dawn on a day he was supposed to have all to himself. That bastard probably planned all this out.
Time passes– the meeting goes through without a hitch– and the red twin is released from his morning duties with a (surprisingly) kind dismissal from the black and white Praxian. Perhaps it's those appreciative words that rectify any lingering pissed off nature Sideswipe sported, but it wasn't enough to stop him from heading to Mcadam's earlier– far earlier– than usual. He'd asked Ironhide if he'd like to join after their early guard duty but the big lug declined.
Now, sitting in an open booth in an empty bar, Sideswipe props a hand up on the table and rests his chin there. There's a great many things both he and Prowl do not see optic to optic on, but he respects the older Praxian's decisions and does his part to see them through. Even if that means being pulled out of recharge early.
Primus he should've just gone back home after that...-
An Unlikely Association
-After their last impromptu adventure Sideswipe found himself wandering around the streets of Iacon after drinking pretty heavily at Blurr's bar. The strong high grade did little to wash out the memories of what occurred in the bowls of a once great city. At the least, the intoxication acted as a balm to sooth the painful reminder that his other half isn't currently here with him.
The days that followed were similar; each wakening from recharge brought with it the pang of guilt and regret he felt down in that cavern. Slowly but surely he got a hold of himself and refocused on his duty without that pestering thought plaguing him day and night.
Regaining control, settling back into his usual self, Sideswipe begun to wonder what all else lay under the rubble of that fallen city he and Skywarp discovered. If it weren't for that dragon, perhaps they would have been able to uncover far more than a statue and some rifle alongside corpses. Telling Prowl could only do so much– that place wasn't a beneficing factor in the ongoing struggle of life above ground so therefor it wasn't deemed important.
Whatever.
More days passed and Sideswipe now finds himself once again situated in Blurr's bar. For once he's not actively seeking out conversation with the former champion. Instead, he's chosen a booth in the back and there he sits, with a cube of half finished high grade just staring out over Cybertron in the direction of where that underground city resided.-
