DAY ONE, DONE!👏
Today was a whirlwind - chaotic and insame, like everything is surreal. Standing here again in the same school, and able to hear again the loud cheers of the different team. Sport Fest is officially here! I'm loving every bit of it - the familiar faces, the new connections, the rush of competition.
It started with a shaky start, though. My Scrabble game was a decent warm-up, but I was nervous knowing the other players were no slouch. Then we took on Blazing Zephyrs in Volleyball, and it was a wild ride - they almost took us down! Lastly, we represent Phanters in Badminton's Double-Mix Category… and yes, we WON!
It was loud, messy, and real - a mashup of lessons and wins. One win doesn't erase the sweat and grind we've put in, though. We're headed to the championship, and I'm keeping my cool. Tomorrow's a new game. All I want is to stay locked in, savor the moment, and give it my all for myself and the teams.
