DON’T take the yard work. it’s professor Moran. A racist, transphobic sociology professor. I was there the day he made the posting.
I DIDN’T KNOW HE WAS THE PROFESSOR OMG thank you.... saved my life

i feel like (i’m hoping but i could be wrong) it’s a white person trying to start some shit. because honestly there were so many conflicting messages on that blog.
i can’t find the gif right now but honestly every post on that blog was like that scene from the office where michael tastes the wine and says “this is a white” while looking straight into the camera
Yoyoyo. Follow thatfreaknastyshit. It's dope, it's not a porn blog. I promise. It's just another celebration of Black Femininity and freedom. 😉
blackqueerfeminism replied to your post “do i wanna give myself yarn braids….”
i've been debating. summer is approaching.
yeah its gonna get hot and imma be miserable and i dont plan on keeping them in for more than a few weeks i started cutting the yarn, ive made the decision to do them this weekend
blackqueerfeminism replied to your post: You know I used the think it’d be cool...
you just taught me a thing
I KNOW LIKE why didnt i know this earlier...why didnt I think of this before??? it seems so unfulfilling to just write for and within the circle. Like, I guess its different for other things. Like sociology for instance. At least those professors are theorizing on issues of race, gender, inequality... producing new and deeper understandings on how each effects the other... Like I couldn't imagine spending the rest of my life talking about how chaucer and shakespeare amongst a group of snooty college educated people.
The only way i think for me to have a fulfilling experience within academia would be to discover/record stories from cultures we dont really pay that much attention to when talking about literature. And part of me thinks that'd be really cool and the other part thinks that exploitative. So idk.
