Who cooks meals for the other? Both will do it, but Maggie is more likely.
Who spams the other with memes? Maggie, until James finally really learns about them and starts hunting down ones he likes.
Who likes to tidy around the house? Neither, James will do it, maybe Maggie
Who likes to play pranks on the other? Maggie
Who asked the other to move in with them? Maggie
Who is in charge of the music during a car ride? Maggie
Who is more likely to tickle the other mercilessly? James
Who needs to hold the other during scary movies? James, though he overestimates how much she's going to be scared.
Who has to help the other when it comes to technology? Depends on the technology. I think both have a basic understanding, but neither is great with anything too technical, so neither is really good at this.
Who likes to get a bit frisky in public / an inappropriate setting? Maggie
Who wakes up first, and do they wake up the other or let them rest? James wakes up first in Western/RDR verses, Maggie does in modern verses when James is more affected by insomnia; James lets her sleep, Maggie may or may not get James up depending on whether or not she wants him up.
Who is always taking pictures of the other when they arenโt looking? James, he wants a lot of pictures of any woman he's in a relationship with to look at
Who always forgets their wallet and never ends up paying for anything? James will pretty much always remember his, so I guess Maggie if either of them do.
Who canโt sleep because the other snores or moves too much at night? Maggie, because James sometimes has nightmares and moves around in his sleep. Less of a problem in the RDR verse, more so in modern verse.
Who is better at video games, and do they let the other win or show no mercy? Maggie, and she will crush him in most games.
Who always gets up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and accidentally wakes up the other? James

She was tightening Fantรดmeโs saddle, running through a million things in her head when she heard him speak up.
โChrist almighty,โ she gasped, turning to face him, wide-eyed. โMake some noise when you walk up behind someone. Iโm prone to kick ya like a horse.โ
Maggie turned back to continue her work on the saddle, giving it an exploratory pull. Her rifle, ammo, and provisions all went in the respective places on Fantรดmeโs back. She wasnโt going to stop what she was doing for polite conversation, but she at least looked over her shoulder in his general vicinity when she spoke again.
โI guess you can come. You ever rob a stagecoach before?โ
โEh, Iโve been kicked plenty oโ times by me own damn horse. Iโm sure Iโd be alright.โ He said evenly, shaking the slack reins in his hands. Heโd only approached the woman because she was on her way out, somewhere. And that somewhere didnโt matter to him.
Finn was simply tired of riding alone. It had been a long way out west and it was best if he and his gang split ways for awhile until the marshals gave up looking for them. Besides, it was much easier to travel alone than to keep in a decent sized group. But that had brought about a great loneliness. A great loneliness in a country that was not his own. In a land that was wild and free and unpredictable. And a horse could only offer so much conversation, and eventually that conversation ran out -- usually much more quickly than he wanted.ย
Heโd kept to himself mostly, counting anything that kept his mind occupied. Large rocks of certain shapes. Stars. Cacti. Cows. Tumbleweed. Heโd even spent a couple weeks chasing the wild horses, though, heโd not successfully caught one as of yet. Besides, Dandy was a far better horse than any other as far as he was concerned. Finn and Dandy were two halves of a whole and Finn wouldnโt have traded the beast for any amount of gold out in California.ย
But counting random objects and livestock, chasing wild horses, and avoiding the vast majority of scattered society had left him with an ache for company. Just conversation even. Anything. And as soon as heโd seen the woman getting ready to leave, heโd invited himself along. Ride with her for a ways before maybe heading for Mexico. He was supposed to meet the rest of his group there next spring, they had decided. Maybe they would. He hoped they would. He missed them greatly.
โWell,โ he started slowly, considering for a moment how to answer her question.ย โLast rumored bounty I had wasnโt for being too friendly with women.โ A coy grin.ย โBut if yehโd like some help, I might know a thingย โr two. Not sayinโ I do, but...โ A simple shrug.
Tossing the tied, split reins over Danyโs head and hoisting himself up in his saddle. Leaning back in the saddle to make himself slightly more comfortable and glancing around. Pushing his hat up some on his forehead to better block the sun but not obscure his vision.ย โWhich way then?โ
ย ย ย He could tell from the yelling, the break of the foliage, and the labored breathing that there were likely a pursuit in action. There had been a part of him tempted to let the fools pass because he doubts that if the shoes had been on the other foot they would not stop and help him. But his own patience gets the better of him and he threw an arm out anyway and hooked the would be thief and kicked his feet out form under him.
ย ย ย Wanahton plucks up the knife from the ground and then turns to hand it over with the hilt toward the stranger. He caught the word, but not the meaning - he did not know this language nor did he recognize where she might have come from. And so he gives her an abrupt nod,ย โYou should be careful. There are as many fools in these parts as there are thieves, and most times they are both. These days theย brave and the foolish often are one and the same.โ
ย ย ย @blackriverkillerโ / John E Wanahton, cont.

First, there was learning names, connecting those to faces, and then the matter of what Robert thought of the person and where his judgment lied. He already began the first part, learning many of the names and linking them to faces all while he made a miraculous fool of himself with boastings, mumbling, and awkward silences. So far to Maggie, he hasnโt made a complete fool of himself. That was a place to start.
ย ย ย ย The year โ96 felt like centuries ago, ages ago, a part of himself he had no knowledge of than dulled, damp memories. It would take a recollection of an event or someone elseโs word to remember much from that time. He wondered distantly what exactly Maggie got herself busy within that year.โ
ย ย ย ย โ I was raised in Richmond, Missouri, โ he nodded to her answer. โ I never traveled outside Kansas City than now, I never left Missouri until now. โ
ย ย ย ย He wrung the nervous tension out of his fingertips by running them through his hair, moving strands from his forehead, and scratching at a spot next to his part. He felt empty of words and looked to remedy that. He cleared his throat and raised his stare, โ What business brought you to Kansas City? โ

Sheโd been tracking a particularly large grizzly bear for almost two days now, seeking a kill as clean as possible to harvest the beastโs fur in perfect condition. The cold season was quick to approach, while Ecaterina was without a proper winter coat and without the money to buy one. The meat, the fat, and every other part of the animal she could carry, were a nice bonus, too.ย
What sounded like a pack of wolves attacking someone distracted her from the trail, then. Not enough gunshots and helpless canine yelps for the human to have emerged victorious this time. Ecaterina waited for a while, laying low in the bushes, and when she approached the place of the attack, her intention was to loot a corpse of anything valuable.ย
Instead, Ecaterina found an injured woman.ย
โEvening,โ she said, holding her rifle at her side. Nonchalant and at ease as if she were strolling down a busy street and greeting passersby. โNeed a hand there?โ She hasnโt made up her mind on how to proceed yet; if this woman was worth more to her alive or dead.
