Nate Lotz has been touring the world with Halsey as a part of her band playing drums. We met up for a moment to have a quick chat and some snaps.

You’ve been touring all around with Halsey. What's the experience been like? It’s been amazing and exhausting. I’ve been writing music and pouring myself into a lot of artistic endeavors this whole time. Doing that on top of playing shows and touring has left me pretty tired but I have also made some amazing friends in the Halsey camp and seen some awesome things. I would never trade it. 

How’s been working with Halsey? I have really grown to love the team I’ve spend the last year and a half with. We’ve gotten to have some amazing adventures together!

Any favourite cities? That’s so difficult, they are all so different and great in their own ways. I did especially love Osaka though.

What's the most memorable so far? Most memorable has definitely been some of the festivals. Coachella and Bonnaroo felt SO special. I won’t forget those.

When you aren't touring, what else are you working on? Writing and recording with BLACKTOP QUEEN in LA. We are getting ready to hit the touring world in the winter and 2017! Expect to see us! We are very excited about the future.

What are you listening to on repeat right now? Vince Staples and a Radiohead live album

How would your friends describe you? Hmmmm neurotic, funny and weird

What's the best thing about being young in 2016? I feel like people's love for music is as strong as ever. People are going to shows and curious to discover new things. It's inspiring.
