Currently drinking TORFMONSTER“ by Blackwell brewery, a islay barrelaged wild yeast saison. Radical. Low carbonation. A bit sour. Heavy smokiness. A bit like ardbeg corrywreckan in Coke without carbonation. First sip repulsive. Then more and more interesting and intriguing. Finished it with pleasure. Omg what a beer I could not resist and opened a bottle of this wild yeast barrel aged ale. This is probably the best I ever had. Tastes like the best cider you can imagine (but there is no apple juice in it) with some excellent Chardonnay or Chablis with very round cask aromas and 30% abbey ale mixed in. Enormously complex and yet soooo easy to drink. Just wow.
