Christmas is getting started soon! <3"

I got a coat and a hat for Christmas this year and that made me happy. :) Mom's getting dinner made, and it's gonna be epic. Epic as in a black guy who didn't eat a single thing of soul food this whole year until NOW. (I don't celebrate Thanksgiving).  

Even though the Christmas holidays should be cheery, there's always the one person in your life who has to go and fuck up all your emotions. 

That person happens to be my sister. The whole time I've been here, she's just been moping and pouting. I've just been in my corner, being quiet, minding my own business and here she is getting all melodramatic, mocking me. And no, this isn't the first time this has happened. Every time I come down here, she gets this attitude. 

My mom asks, "Why don't you talk to her?" ... ... ... ... No offense to all of you lovely Polish people, but I live in a CITY of Polish people, and the one thing you learn is: The less you say, the less you have to hear. The last thing I wanna listen to is lesbian-oohbity-boo-hoo bullshit.

Today, my sister and my mom were in the room while I cleaned and made Christmas cookies. When I came back, my mom asks, "Erik, are you happy?" I responded, "Yes." Then, with my sister in the room, she goes, "She says you're not happy."

I looked at my mom and said, "I don't really give a crap what she says," and seriously did this exact shrug:

I'm just saying, if she ruins my soul food eating moment...
