It’s nearing the end of pride month so I want everyone to remember that:

Bisexuality as a label was made to describe the overlap between those who experience both homosexual and heterosexual attraction

“Bi means two” is accurate only in that there are two types of attraction combining into one, and how historically bisexuals have been in both gay and straight communities while being something entirely their own

So next time I see “bi means two which means two genders” im gonna lose my damn mind

Is the term blade bisexual also intended to be inclusive toward aro/ace people?

yup! while the definition I gave only specifies the inclusion of other m-spec people, it wouldn’t make sense for any type of exclusionist to call themselves a ‘blade bi’. as a demiromantic demisexual who IDs as bi, I’m dedicated to making this blog as safe for my a-spec siblings as possible!
