Illusion

Being a vampire, Nur-Ek finds it much easier to cast illusion spells than other types of spells. However, he is loathe to use them, because he views them as deceptive and more than a little cowardly. Additionally, his host used to use illusion spells liberally and for vile purposes, and Nur-Ek has developed a distaste for most things his host did, contributing to his dislike of illusion. Still, he rarely uses it, and only if the situation demands it. A weak muffle spell when ambushing other vampires is one such occasion.

The Khajiit let out a loud and clearly disgruntled hiss, her ears pulling back and her features darkening considerably. "This one will have you know that Khajiit is a fine, upstanding, and law-abiding citizen. And Khajiit does not appreciate being likened to some tattered, ill-looking, and unwanted beast."

Ammir, on the other hand, simply blinks slightly as he thinks over the nickname, finally glancing back up after a moment or two. "I was unaware my name was one that required even further shortening. It is not exactly long in the first place."

εжз : What about nature do they find calming? What about nature do they find disagreeable?

Just being in nature usually does plenty towards have a calming effect on Cal, though in particular he does rather enjoy being near running water as well, as he finds the sound particularly soothing. As for something he finds disagreeable, probably top on his list would be small, buzzing insects. Not so much biting ones, but those that can't seem to stay out of his eyes or ears or nose. Those kind he simply has no tolerance of.

❣: Describe a way that will earn affection (whether platonic or romantic) from them.

Being understanding of Ammir's situation and position is a sure way to earn points from him. Another way, though he won't outright admit it, is apple-based confectioneries pastries. The Altmer does have quite a bit of a sweet tooth for such things, though he is rather quick to downplay such a thing.

☆ : Would they ever wish upon a falling star? If so, what would they wish?

More than likely no. Altai isn't one much for silly superstitions, much preferring things she can touch with her hands and actually use to the betterment and benefit of herself. Wishfully hoping that something will happen does, in her mind, nothing to actually change one's current situation, and perhaps even makes it worse because the wisher is relying on fate rather than making things happen for themselves.

♡ : Is there a certain scent that brings about nostalgia? If so, describe a memory this scent brings back.

The one scent that brings on good feelings more than anything is more of a combination scent than a singular one, with it being the smell of food being cooked over a campfire. Such a thing reminds him of the first group of mortals that didn't immediately start lobbing arrows in his direction when his curiosity got the better of him and he touched down near a campsite to see what it was all about.

☾ : On a sleepless night, what would they be found doing?

More than likely on such a sleepless night Suri's will still be lying in her current sleeping arrangements still trying to sleep, but her thoughts will turn back to her home and the people there back in Elsweyr. Not that she'll be quick to admit such a thing to just about anyone in Skyrim, but she does have a certain amount of homesickness for the compound and the monks that called it home and were essentially her family.

۞: Are there any inner demons they can never seem to get rid of? What are they?

Nor without question has his fair share of inner demons, though he's also quite of the mind of keeping his inner demons to himself. The way he sees it they are part of his past life and not any of his current affiliations business, as it is only his current personage that should matter to them. Needless to say trying to get him to share such things will more often than not get the asker nowhere, except maybe perhaps on Nor's "I don't really like you" list depending on how persistent they are in asking. Should he actually go sharing a bit of his past with a person, means that said person is one that Nor places an immense amount of trust and respect in.

What would Nor do if he ever received a contract for Sophie?

Nor's eyes narrow considerably. "To begin with, I highly, highly doubt such a thing would happen in the first place. Even with the leniency towards following the tenets under Astrid's leadership, the Brotherhood is still my family, and Sophie is without question a part of that family. And I do not harm, much less kill members of my family," the Argonian hissed. "Not to mention the rest of my fellows are well aware of the fact that I have a daughter, and that she is as much my family as the rest of the Brotherhood is. Even with the current leniency, they are not about to go killing a member of the family either." A low snort leaves the assassin's frame. "Not to mention they know how unwise it would be to draw the ire of one who has survived in this family and in this livelihood for the better part of thirty years. If there is one thing I know how to do it is survive." A slight pause. "Well, survive and kill, technically," Nor added, placing deliberate emphasis on the word as he crossed his hands over each other.
