About me....
My name is Jade I’m 28 and have had a love for horses for 18 years. I started riding after a chance encounter. It was shortly after my mum passed away and I was spending a weekend with my uncle (actually my dads uncle but they’re more like brothers) and my cousin rode and I got invited along. The love affair started straightaway I went every week after that for years even helped out for some free lessons. I had something to take my mind off my grief and a outlet.
I briefly stopped riding when I was 15 years old, to then take it up again at university. Whilst there I had a loan pony I saw twice a week and helped others out on the yard. When I moved back home I had a brief episode where I helped a lady who had cancer with her horses once she passed I wasn’t welcome anymore. Then almost a year later I found another loan pony called April. She was lovely but not long term and not mine. I was very appreciative to her owner for allowing me to look after her and gain more experience looking after horses. But I needed that next step. It was then or never. After months of looking I bought my pony Connor in March 2018.
About Connor...
Connor is a Irish Cob X who is currently 7 years old and about 14/14.1hh grey blagdon splash. He’s basically a old man already which I love. He’s a old head on young shoulders.
We are purely about leisure riding life he’s not a competition pony it’s not why I bought him but we do try to do varying things...dressage, jumping, hacking, sponsored rides etc.
Feel free to join our journey and my thoughts and feelings of my horsey/yard related life.
