"Draco what are you staring at?" The emphasis that Pansy put on the 'are' of her sentence made Draco want to smack her. He turned to her, eyes flicking to the side slowly, a kind of evil look in his eyes as he did, his silver orbs condescending. 

"I'm not staring at anything, Pansy." The lie slid off his tongue smoothly and he continued his hateful glare, "And even if I was it wouldn't be any of your business."

The truth was he'd been staring rather intently at how poorly a job he had done at fixing his boyfriend's hair this morning. The dark-haired gryffindor had a piece of hair that refused to tame, and it was itching at Draco to walk all the way across the great hall to go fix it. But instead he stayed put, and looked down at his breakfast, eggs and bacon, and picked at it. He wasn't hungry, not today of all days. Last night he and Harry had spoken for a long time about what exactly they were going to do with their relationship. Harry had assured Draco he would be safe if he decided to denounce the Death Eaters, and Draco had no choice but to trust him. So today, today he decided whether he continued to lie, or if he stood up in defense of his love for the gryffindor, and proved that he really did love him.
