Blaine vc: A guy's gotta have his standards! Were you raised in a barn or something?!
Seb vc: Have you really forgotten that I was raised in Paris?
STARTER CALL || @blaine-devonanderson !
‘‘ HEY BLAINE ? can i ask you about auditioning for things ? ’’
@blaine-devonanderson asked: “ is there anything real about you? “

He wanted to scoff, and he nearly did. Key word nearly. He didn’t want to dismiss Blaine’s comment, it came from somewhere after all. To him, nothing Blaine did was out of the blue. He also wanted to be at his best around Blaine, he wanted to be his best self, no matter what that entailed. So Sebastian had to check his behavior. So instead of scoffing, and making some witty remark, he tiled his head slightly, “What about me do you think is fake?”
@blaine-devonanderson asked: ‘ how could you NOT fall in love with the glow of the moon and stars, the warmth of the sun, the ancient life within the tress, and the sweet melodies of the winds? ’

He had the easiest answer in the world to Blaine’s question. But he found he probably shouldn’t say it. He could not fall in love with that stuff because he had fallen in love with someone--- the very boy who asked the question in fact. Not that he could tell that to Blaine. Not that he could admit that he had a heart like that. Not that he could ruin more things for Blaine. “Because my stone cold heart needs a person to make it beat it again, Killer,“ he said eventually, his voice calm and nonchalant. It wasn’t a lie, but it stayed safely away from the fact that the real answer was that he fell in love with Blaine.
@blaine-devonanderson asked: “ if it was down to me to save your life, would you trust me to do it ? ”
{ hero/villain - x - answered }
Sebastian thought it was a stupid question. Not because the question itself was stupid but even asking it was stupid. Perhaps he put too much trust in Blaine, perhaps it was his crush on the other, but Sebastian didn’t care. He knew his answer, he didn’t even have to think about it. “Yes,” he said immediately. He sat back and looked at Blaine. Sebastian was confident in his answer. He wouldn’t be changing it any time soon. “I’m surprised you even had to ask.”

FIRST KISS
The first kiss with Blaine was nothing like Sebastian imagined. Not that he had any perfect scenario. No it wasn’t like what Sebastian imagined because it was better. It was cliche to say. But Sebastian had contemplated kissing the shorter boy from time to time. He’d be lying if he said he didn’t. And he really had no specific scenario in mind. He had thought of plenty. However, none of them were quite like this.
Blaine kissed him first. It was short, and it very clearly lead to Sebastian wanting more. It seemed hesitant. And Sebastian couldn’t blame him, the other boy had been with Kurt where sudden advances didn’t seem to be normal. He didn’t know all the details, but from what he did know spontaneity was not welcome by Hummel. Luckily he wasn’t Hummel.
He didn’t even allow Blaine to have another word, and went in to continue that first kiss, smiling into it as he did.
IN FRONT OF THE WARBLERS
It was a reunion. A few years after graduation, after Sebastian and Blaine had gotten together. They had been careful with announcing it. Kurt and some of the New Directions made things more difficult than they ever needed to be. So they had been careful. It was fine.
However they were among friends. They were among people Sebastian trusted, and Blaine trusted. Nick had been Sebastian’s roommate for years, and put up with everything if anyone deserved to know if they were official it was Nick. It had been about an hour, and Sebastian gave Blaine a chaste kiss on the cheek before discretely slipping away to the bathroom.
The kiss wasn’t discrete, and it got the attention of the Warblers. It wasn’t any big celebration of a kiss. But it was perfect for the occasion, for the men there. It was subtle enough to not interrupt the festivities, but announced enough to start a conversation, and relieve Nick from dying before Sebastian and Blaine became official.
Upon his return Sebastian just smirked and let the chaos from their friends ensue.
TO PISS KURT OFF
It was an opening night, Sebastian doesn’t even remember who it was an opening night for, what it was for him or Blaine. All that he knew was that Kurt was there. Which even after all these years, irked him. It must have been an opening night for Blaine.
He remembers being back stage after the show. He was talking with one of the company before going to see Blaine when he saw Kurt. He excused himself and went to see Kurt at Blaine’s dressing room. He saw the door open and he saw Blaine talking to Kurt. He knew nothing would come of it, he knew he wasn’t jealous like Kurt had been.
He also knew that Kurt didn’t know Blaine’s boyfriend was him. So, Sebastian smirked, made it to Kurt reintroduced himself to the boy. Who was already questioning why he was here. Why he was backstage. It was like watching a movie that he had seen before. Kurt was an old record on reply. He smirked, gave Blaine a knowing look and while he could have said any number of things to Kurt.
He didn’t.
He moved into the dressing room towards Blaine, and gave him a chaste kiss on the lips. It wasn’t long, or shoving too much into Kurt’s face. But it shut the boy stuck in his high school days up. And Sebastian held back at laugh, shooting Blaine a semi sorry look, even though he wasn’t sorry at all.
PROPOSAL
Sebastian liked to think he knew Blaine. However, when it came to a perfect proposal he was utterly clueless. He had done the right thing asked the parents, got permission. All of that. he did all of that. But when it came to the actual event itself Sebastian was lost. He didn’t want a repeat of an event important to them, as nice as it would have been to propose with the warbler’s singing, and stopping as he came forward for a solo to bend on one knee, it didn’t feel perfect.
Blaine had always admired he had been out there. He lived in Paris. That he was so distinctly not Kurt, if that was even a proper way to phrase it. But when it came to proposing he was clueless.
Then one day it kind of happened. It was a lazy morning, just him and Blaine sharing a bed. He was drinking a homemade coffee with a shot of Courvoiseir because no he was not joking when he told Blaine that. He looked at his boyfriend who still appeared to be asleep. He was lucky. He knew that.
He looked to his bedside table where the ring was, a poor choice most likely but he trusted Blaine enough to not snoop, especially when Sebastian had never made any inclination that he was going to propose or that he bought a ring. And Blaine’s family, bless them, had been utterly discrete about the whole thing and Blaine never seemed tipped off.
So he pulled the ring, out of the box, out of the bedside table and studied it taking a sip. He tried to figure out what words to say, how to make this whole thing perfect. Did Blaine want some big event or did he want something private and sentimental. He looked at Blaine and sighed, “How do I even ask you?” After all, Sebastian was the last person who ever thought about getting married. He wasn’t sure the perfect way to propose.
He hadn’t even realized Blaine had woken up, and he was laying in bed with a coffee in one hand, and a ring in the other, clearly Blaine figured out what was going on. Sebastian didn’t even get to properly ask the question, because Blaine had said yes, the ring was on his finger, the coffee forgotten on the nightstand, as he kissed Sebastian. It reminded him so much of their first kiss, but their was no hesitancy, as this time it seemed that Blaine pulled away only to get a breath of air.
WEDDING
Sebastian had very few requirements for their wedding, that was obviously extravagant but elegant because money was not a problem. The first was that his parents always remained separated, because apparently not allowing his mother to come was rude and he was not allowed to do that ( fine she can come Blaine ). The second was that Nick was his best man. The third was that they either where complimentary suits, or black suits, but under no circumstances was one of them to wear black and the other white. That felt tacky to him. The fourth, and final thing that he required was that one of their flowers be sunflowers, they had long been a favorite of Sebastian’s. But no flower was more perfect to describe his past, present, and future with Blaine. Adoration, loyalty, and longevity.
He got those four things. It was a perfect day. Sure the kissed at the alter, but that is not the kiss that Sebastian remembers most clearly despite being sober at the time. No the kiss that marks this occasion for Sebastian was at the reception in the midst of some cheesy party song that every DJ has on their party list, with the Warblers, and their friends, and family surrounding them singing along with said cheesy song, their was confetti at some point and he and Blaine were kissing, Sebastian holding the other man close. They are both smiling into the kiss, everyone is happy.
He’s glad that a photographer also captured that particular memory for them. Its Sebastian’s favorite picture from the wedding. Its the one he always has in dressing rooms, on his phone, its in their apartment framed. Its utterly perfect.
{ starter for @blaine-devonanderson - harvard }
Sebastian had been tense at graduation. He was graduating with honors, summa cum laude, a practically perfect GPA, a perfect LSAT score, and a scholarship to Harvard Law. He had it made. However, that didn’t erase the nerves of the day. It was going to be tense. It would be the first time he would be seeing his mom in four years, since Dalton graduation, and if this is anything like that, Sebastian really wanted no part of the forced dinner their broken family was going to have.
The ceremony was over, and he was pointedly ignoring where his parents were in favor of being with his friends, fraternity brothers, roommate of four years ( Nick Duval deserved an award for putting up with him four seven years and if their plan was to go on, another three ), and Blaine. “Hey,” he grinned, “I need you to do me a favor, keep me away from my family for as long as possible.”
