Lake Davis HDR's by Frank C. Via Flickr: 3 different HDR photos taken over the span of about 5 minutes at Lake Davis, CA. This particular photo is 14 different exposures combined into 1. During the bad winter months, most of this lake is not only frozen over but inaccessible except for ATV use. Even then, things can get a little hairy. Seen in the Northeastern portion of California, The looming storm and contrasting blue skies add interesting shadows to the lake. -HDR Photo. ©FranksRails Photography
BNSF to UP Tunneled Connections by Frank C. Via Flickr: Seen in HDR form, the tunnel portal leading from Keddie, CA., to the BNSF Highline is seen here. Very seldom used but it is still around for those rare emergencies. -HDR Photo. ©FranksRails Photography
Keddie's Haunted Resorts by Frank C. Via Flickr: Keddie Resort is now part of a haunted area in Plumas County, California. One of the few incidents that happened here was scary enough that not many people acknowledge it happening, but did require 2 cabins to be torn down. This is the "check in/office area" of the resort, still standing but all abandoned along SR-70 in Keddie, CA. ©FranksRails Photography

Blairsden June 18, 2014
For about 10 days in May this year, my daughter and I had the privilege of working as docents at the Mansion in May event held this year at Blairsden, sponsored by The Women’s Association of Morristown Medical Center. The event raised funds for an An Expanded Pediatric Intensive Care Unit & New Autism Center at Goryeb Children’s Hospital Morristown Medical Center.
