“Sometimes, the most desperate plans seem to attract the most luck or misfortune.”
Blaise Corvin, First Song (Anthem of Infinity #1)
Something I’ve learned is that greed comes in different forms, and it’s not always just about money or material things. Sometimes it’s about validation or even self-image, and those are the most dangerous types of motivations people can have.

Then again, floor layouts for apartments were pretty similar on Earth, too. He briefly wondered if there were only so many ways that bipeds could link rectangular rooms together in the most space-efficient way possible, or if maybe there was like…a grandfather apartment plan out there in the universe that everybody was copying off of.

First off, every time I have experienced being a child, it’s not like I was an adult in a smaller body. The hardware is not quite there. It actually usually turns out in my favor, but…being fifteen again, twice, meant I was a really mature fifteen-year-old, but I was still a teenager. The best way to explain it is to use people with hormone imbalances or mental illnesses as an example. Our biology is really powerful and affects our personalities. Me remembering my past lives could help me deal with puberty easier, but it still sucked.
