everyone’s different reactions to Halo’s growth spurt-

Lisa: no more short person solidarity 😔 I mean Halo was taller than her before but they were also the second shortest of the soul riders

Alex: partially emotional bc her big sister side is proud. partially pissed off bc they can use her as an arm rest now

Linda: squints up at them for a good minute when she realizes. is like “huh. ok. must be an alien thing. sure. what the fuck”

Anne: does a double take when she realizes they’re eye-level with her now, but is otherwise unbothered and doesn’t really question it

Sabine: slightly annoyed they’re not a pipsqueak she can pick up by the back of their cape anymore

Jay: has never once given a fuck about Halo. does not give a shit. doesn’t even notice

Katja: adding this growth spurt to the long list of reasons she wants to see the life leave their eyes. how DARE they be taller.
