I’m starting to regret adding GHCoffee and Blake Jennings their friendship is scaring me
One of the things that always comes to mind for "Pokemon fan war crimes" and probably the most cursed piece of Pokemon fandom knowledge I've learned about is the fake distribution racist shiny Gengar.
(An unkempt man dressed as a Team Rocket grunt had one of the old distribution carts, edited it with a Gengar that was themed on nasty stereotypes with its name being the n-slur, and distributed it at an official launch event for Pokemon Platinum. Nintendo had to warn people against downloading it, and the man was arrested.)
Some people actually have attempted to hunt it down for the rarity factor. Which is like, why do you want to own a dumpster fire????
Yeah no sorry, this Blake Jennings situation is too funny, I can't just let it slide. To recap, Blake (a gay youtuber who got famous from videos about "what your fave character/romance/spotify playlist says about you" and "which characters can say F****t") made a long form vid on various controversies in the Pokemon fandom, and spent a couple minutes summarizing Pokemadhouse therein. Lily retorts with this astounding clapback:
OTAKU JAMES SOMERTON.
You know, like James Somerton? the gay youtuber who got caught stealing a ton of content for his vids? That guy? Gee, why would you associate Blake Jennings with stealing video content?
OH WAIT.
LOBOTORETTE FOREVER
i screamed!!!!! Blake Jennings reading me for filth for real 😂😂😂
Y’all I just realized that half the Youtubers I watch literally look like this:
I never truly realized how many middle-aged white guys I watch on the Internet
