(Sequel To Previous.) Post Pregnancy Problems.
Blake was awaken by a phone call, Seeing it was 8:43 in the morning, Looking at his wall clock.
He rolled over on his back, Answering his phone call, But not before yawning.
"Hello?" He spoke, Rubbing his eyes.
"Bedroom. NOW." Abigail shouted through the phone, Hanging up instantly and abruptly, Blake jumping slightly, Placing his phone on the couch, Slowly walking up the stairs.
He knew he was in trouble.
But he wasn't quite sure how to explain himself. He honestly didn't want to. He never lied to Abigail, Wasn't his style. But he didn’t necessarily want to tell the truth?
"Morning, Baby girl." Blake quietly spoke, Standing in the doorway for his own safety.
"What's your problem," She started, Anger ridden in her brown eyes, Arms crossed over her chest.
"I know you think I haven't noticed you sneaking off downstairs as soon as I fall asleep. And when you lay next to me while I fall sleep, You're never close to me. What is it, You don't find me attractive anymore? Jesus, A girl gives birth to twins two days ago and she's on bed rest for two weeks and her fiancé can't even comfort her? Wow, That's amazing."
Abigail's tone shook him, His eyes widening, As he held up his finger in protest.
"Baby girl, You will neverrrr," He emphasized, Waging his finger, "Become unattractive to me. Ever. So let's make sure we have that straight. And secondly…Some things I just have to do." Blake quietly ended, Abigail shaking her head.
"Don't give me that mess, Blake Austin. You're acting this way for a reason, Now please inform me why. You know we're always straight up with one another….We keep it one hundred…." She dragged off, More disappointment showing on her face and in her voice than anger.
"I know, Abigail, I know, It's just…I don't want it to happen again." Blake muttered, Looking towards the ground like a child.
"Baby, Please be a bit more specific." Abigail sighed, Rubbing her tired eyes, Patting a spot on the bed for Blake, Who carefully made his way over to her, Him shaking his head.
"I don’t want you to have another child."
Abigail's concerned looked quickly turned to one of hurt and confusion.
"Blake, I think that's a choice that you and I sit down and make together. As a couple. You can't just randomly tell me that you don’t want me to have anymore children." She ranted, Blake closing his eyes, Leaning against the door post.
"Baby girl, I can't do it again?" He whispered, Hoping Abigail would catch on.
"Do what again, Blake, Be a father? You're doing an amazing job at it, You don’t think you could do it again?" She nearly cried, Her confusion being the reason for her tears.
"I can't watch you almost die again, Abigail. Especially in my arms, I refuse to let it happen once more." Blake finally let out, Staring at ground, too afraid to look up.
"Blake…Come sit down, Sweetheart, Please." Abigail whispered, Blake finally caving, Laying on the bed, Resting his head carefully in his fiancé's lap.
"I can't have you that close to leaving me again." Blake sighed, Kissing her thigh softly, As she ran her fingers through his curls.
"It was something that was unexpected, Blake. Doesn't mean it will ever happen again. And even if there's a chance it will, We gave my doctor on our side. Next time he can find me some pills or some form of medication that will make me be able to carry children more successfully. This was just a one-time thing."
She kissed his forehead, Him wrapping his arms around her legs.
"There's always that possibility, Abigail." Blake spoke, Not being able to stop his thoughts of the future.
"You doubt me, Love. Put your faith in me like you use to. But in all that, I still don't understand why you won't lay with me." She spoke, Blake shaking his head.
"Because laying lead to touching, And touching leads to feeling, And feeling leads to getting carried away, And getting carried away leads to love making and love making leads to pregnancies and pregnancies hurt you." Balk spoke, Not stopping to take a breath in-between, Abigail smiling softly at him.
"I'm so glad that you've thought this out, Baby. You make me so proud, Using that big brain of yours." Abigail laughed, Blake smiling.
"You know I try, Babe. I just don't want you to leave me, I came so close the first time, And I won't do it again."
With flawless effort, Abigail kissed his lips sideways, Making him chuckled softly into the kiss.
"And baby, You never will."
