The Lion's Den || Grey/Blake

Grey was going to die. He was 87% sure he was going to die. He wasn't sure where he'd pulled that figure from, but it was definitely right. Not that he didn't want to do it, and not that he wasn't going to, but he was pretty sure he was going to die. Mostly, he was worried he was going to get hurt - scratched, hit with something, fall a long way and hurt himself bad enough to trigger his automatic reaction to kill the pain. Hurt bad enough to dose himself with morphine and not be able to run from a lion. 

Being that he was who he was, he tugged the lockpicking kit, a small one he wasn't sure he'd need, and slipped the large case into his deep pockets before he headed out to meet the man who'd introduced himself as Jerome. He had since overheard that that was not, in fact, his name, but if he wanted Grey to think he was called Jerome, then Jerome he would be. At the entryway, he waited patiently, tapping on his leg absently and thinking about which tranquilizer he needed to focus on in case something came at him.
