Summary: Dazai is set to be the final sacrifice for his cult, in order to bring back Arahabaki to the world and rain havoc on humanity. And he is not afraid - in fact, he is honoured.

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to the cult acolytes, Arahabaki has grown weary of their foolish worship. But once he's reunited with his destined, the god will ensure that this will be the end of this wildly misconstrued perception of him.

Or: Sacrifice!Dazai and God!Chuuya Soulmate AU with lots of blood, gore and violence (but who's surprised, it's them XD)

i joined an exchange fic event and wrote Had Me @ Hello for @chuuyaspinkmotorcycle :3

here's some extra character info that i couldn't fit into the fic in time but i really wanna share:

Paul is the same as Chuuya - not a true-born werewolf

Arthur was originally a human but was turned into a vampire for his job (but turning humans into creatures is now illegal)

Both Kouyou and Chuuya were adopted by Paul and Arthur

Kouyou is an arachnid (arachnids have extra arms, and are able to spit and spin webs from their wrists and mouth)

After being adopted, Chuuya was homeschooled for a year or so before going to public high school

Chuuya and the Flags meet in high school

Albatross is a werewolf with light blonde fur

Lippmann is a shapeshifter, which is why it's easy for him to model and it helps with acting

Pianoman is an arachnid too (cuz he does the piano wire thing so i'm like, "mmm, yes. string equals web.")

Doc is sort of like a frankenstein-like creature. He tries to mix and match different creature flesh and organs to fix his medical condition

And Iceman is a human, of course *nodding*

Kouyou and Pianoman sometimes have web-making competitions

Sometimes, when Chuuya sneaks out of the house at night, Albatross shifts into his wolf form and Chuuya climbs onto Albatross' back and the two of them go running in the woods

Dazai is a natural-born vampire

Odasaku is a werewolf with dark, rust red fur (does that make sense? i hope it makes sense)

Odasaku is an Alpha werewolf, forced to grow up fast after his parents died young and adopting five young werewolves who haven't gone through their First Shift yet

Ango is a cyborg

The three of them have been friends since high school too

Before the beginning of the fic, Dazai was having a bad day so he went to Oda's place instead of the river, which was also why Dazai's scent was so heavily covered by Odasaku's scent

An Alpha werewolf's scent normally covers those they consider family

Oda's place is nearby the Magic Beans and Coffee Bombs, which is where Oda recommended to Dazai to go to for coffee before he went back home to Mori

🍦What's the sweetest fic you've created so far?

HMMMM... i think sweetest fic would be Chuuya introducing Dazai to bubble tea. like, Dazai's pretty sheltered because his parents are those kinda rich people who made him homeschooled until middle/high school/secondary school (there are too many variations in schools across the globe *head in hands*)

And also cuz Dazai's suicidal so his parents (or more like, Hirotsu) keeps a close eye on him

And then the first time Dazai took a sip of bubble tea, his eyes literally sparkle and Chuuya's like, "I want to give him more sugar. More sweet stuff. Yeah." and also Chuuya doesn't know it but this is where he starts falling for Dazai >:3

He didn't mean for it to slip out.

"The fuck, Tongari?"

A pause as they stare at each other. One in fear of what he just said. The other with confusion written all over his face, eyes clear and bright despite the five empty bottles strewn around them on the rooftop of the motel.

There's a sixth bottle in Vash's hands and he plays with it as he scrambles to say something else.

"Sometimes I... you know, I think... I think I'm tired of dying."

He really didn't mean for it to slip out.

They had been running from yet another gang who tried to take him down for the bounty. Wolfwood got Angelina to drive them as far as she could on such low fuel until they reached this town. And Vash... Vash knows they're nearing the end.

He's only lived twice before.

It's two times too many.

Wolfwood's still staring at him, alcohol dulling him to wait for an answer instead of interrogating.

If he were human, Vash would've blamed it on the alcohol. Three bottles would have any normal person swaying on their feet and squinting at their surroundings.

Or maybe he could blame it on the moon and its pale glow, making the world softer and ethereal.

"Vash."

He wants to take it back. Of all the people to find out, he never wanted it to be Wolfwood.

Wolfwood, who has now sat up and is pulling Vash by the collar to sit up too. "What the fuck do you mean you're tired of dying? You've never died."

Vash doesn't know what the right thing to do is. There's too much spilling out of him tonight after centuries of living over and over and over again. He doesn't know how to make it stop.

So he does the only thing he wants to do right now.

Vash lifts his hands to Wolfwood's face and says, "I'm tired of dying. But I'll never get tired of loving you."

The words feel too real in his mouth. There's a weight to them that makes Dazai want to grab Chuuya by the shoulders and hiss it into his mouth, nails biting into his skin.

"You knew what you were getting into."

It's supposed to be an act. They're just playing their part with dozens of eyes on them, a camera over each of their shoulders and another to Dazai's left.

"And now here you are. Blaming me."

But the rage in Chuuya's eyes is burning Dazai alive. Rage that makes him want to —

SLAP!

Dazai's stunned.

He slowly lifts his face towards Chuuya and...

There's tears gathering in those beautiful blue eyes full of pain and anger and spite.

But Chuuya's voice is steady and filled with venom when he spits out, "You're right. I should've never devoted my life to you at all, Takashi."

"I should've never married you - "

Someone yells "Cut!" and the lights are turned back on. There's people immediately jumping onto him: fixing his foundation, adjusting his clothes, tucking his hair back.

Dazai can see the same thing happening with Chuuya. Chuuya, who has already turned away from him, choosing to face Mori as he walks over from his director's chair and starts clapping.

"That was absolutely brilliant! Wasn't expecting the slap from you, Chuuya, but I think we might keep it in the film," Mori praises.

Except it doesn't feel like a praise.

Dazai looks back at Chuuya but the redhead is already walking away.

"I should've never married you, Osamu. We were a mistake."
