Our perception is a reflection of what we choose to see. Our minds altering the absorption of light waves as they flip, hitting our retina. So what happens when mind-altering drugs, or the belief there of, are thrown into the mental melting pot? 3.Paradis investigate, as they delve into the twilight world of the placebo effect for AW15.
Toying with the notions of depth and proportion, the collection elaborates upon a predominantly white, monochromatic colour palette. Reimaging traditional menswear silhouettes and manipulating them with the incorporation of oversized garmenting to juxtapose the superposition created by layering.
Continuing their recurring love affair with Japanese culture and further advancing upon the underlying connotations of mental health and expansion, 3.Paradis reinvent classic garments from both Japan and the field of medicine. Updating and reimagining Kimono, Lab Jackets and Scrub Shirts in their signature style of futurism.
