what is Ruby's relationship to Vil? I saw they have the same last name, and I want to know if they're related or something. :3

Ruby became Vil's step sister several years ago when they were both children. His dad married her mom for reasons neither child understood at the time.

Ruby was somewhat of a clingy younger sister in the first few years, which annoyed Vil to no end (Who can blame him, it's always annoying to have a younger sibling, especially when you aren't used to it.) But he was never cruel to her, as much as he didn't understand her, she was still his little sister.

Around the time their mother died, Vil was busy with both school at night raven, and his career. so he didn't have the time to really notice how his dad had started to treat Ruby. Nor did he have time to process the death of the woman who helped raise him those few years.

And by now, they are anything but close. With Vil too busy to notice how hard his sister is trying so hard to emulate him. From how she does her hair, how she does her makeup. Even trying to hold her naturally big eyes in a more squinted position, like his naturally thin eyes. She thinks he's perfect, but perfection is something she... cant reach. not in the way their dad expects.

They get along, but there's a distance between the two. They act more like actors playing out sibling interactions, rather than like real siblings. Its like a sheet of glass separating them, that only Ruby has noticed

Meet Iris Zigvolt, the adopted daughter of Baur Zigvolt. A bright, and cheerful young girl, a very great contrast to her adopted father as well as Sebek. She was adopted by the Briar Valley general after he found her, a lucky survivor from an attack on her family. The attack left the young fae bird blind, and unable to fly. though she has never let her disabilities stop her from engaging with the world. She is well skilled in textiles, as well as beading, even sewing her old baby feathers into jewelry and into the edge of her poncho. Her adopted father does his best to keep her in contact with the tribe of her birth, having even befriended her best friend Awinita's father

Meet Florianne Prins, a young noble woman from the Shaftlands. She is ever the busy girl, having hardly any time to actually spend inside the school proper, she takes most of her classes online. Most of her days are spent on the mainland with her family, being taught things specific to her position as the heiress of a Dukery. As well as performing her duties as one of Vivians Ladies in waiting As a child she became an actress, primarily to meet others her age and socialize with those of a more normal standing. That's where she met Neige and Vil, being the princess to their prince and villain. Though her roles never did amount to much, and they still don't. She's a pleasant girl, friendly and loving, especially with her childhood sweetheart Neige. Tags: #Florianne Prins

Hey! I kinda mustered the courage to ask this but if you are struggling to make your oc’s um’s or stuff I can help if you need it. But still, your doing great! I like qll the oc’s so far!

The other reason that I’m asking is, what does Ruby think of Florian, is she a bit envious of Florian? Or does she think she’s charming?

Also what do you mean by one of Vivian’s ladies in waiting? Like is that the equivalent to a vice dorm leader in Blue fairy and are there more? Or am I thinking of a compley different thing?

thank you for the offer! I'm alright for right now, but I'll let you know if I need ideas! As for Ruby and Florianne, she is conflicted... as when she is around, she reminds the young girl VERY strongly of her mother. Who passed away a few years back, and is dearly missed by Ruby.

But then again... she hardly ever is around, which is painful in its own way for her.

And Vivian is a princess in her own right, outside of the school. So Florianne being a Lady of Nobility, is her literal lady in waiting. Her and Klarissa both are her Ladies in waiting. Basically it means they're her personal companions and assistants, though she tries not to bother them with too much

I find it a little ironic that Eric bullies Ruby for her eye colour. A lot of people hc that brown eyes are rare in that world while blue and green are commonplace, due to genetics being flipped. The only characters who have that so far are Cheka and Neige. It's also what I imagine part of Neige's draw is in that world due to him having this super rare eye colour.

It is odd that someone would dislike such a unique trait! In twisted wonderland, we hardly ever see wide faces, round noses, curly hair, such red lips, such big brown eyes. What could he possibly be reminded of...?

Ruby's dearly departed mother had all the same traits after all, and he had such a fondness for her

I have a couple of question. If Eric was so fond of the features that Ruby’s mother had, why bully Ruby in the first place?

Is it to really protect his son’s career, or a moment of grief?

or a combination of both?

And did Eric ever regret what he did?

There are a few reasons Eric holds... complicated feelings for his stepdaughter. Not the least of which being who Rose picked over him all those years ago...

He, Rose, and Ruby's biological father, Behr were all in the same social circle in their youth. The two young men had an... animosity for each other, to put it lightly. With Behr knowing of Eric's feelings for Rose, and yet he pursued her anyway, when Eric refused to take the leap. There was a noticeable divide between Rose and Eric afterwards, with them splitting up, until after both Ruby and Vil had been born, and both their spouses having died. Eric saw this as a second chance, an opportunity to finally live the life with the woman he loved through his younger years... But Rose grew sick. She would never recover. and Eric would never be able to look at Ruby without seeing her father, afterwards. in his eyes, a cruel reminder of his own cowardliness And instead of being a normal adult and seeking help, he would bully her. pick apart her appearance. her dark hair, her moles, her soft face- All things that not only made her look more like her father, but also more and more like Neige LeBlanche as she grew older. He wants to protect his son for more competition, he's grieving his lost love... He will, eventually, come to regret it. He will eventually seek to make his family whole, but not without... Outside influence. (This took so long to actually formulate a response hehe, hope it was worth it! I am still answering things in my inbox, dw <3)
