Thing is, there’s a popular buddie (!!) blog that i used to follow who really loves EddieAna / Ana as a character and while that’s all fair and good, that’s great for them, but they also make all these comments/ agree with anons who say that people base their prediction that EddieAna is doomed on racist and misogynist arguments yada yada. Like you don’t have to agree with people saying that EddieAna isn’t endgame, (you will see soon enough),but don’t throw these accusations around like it’s nothing.

I mean, it's fine if you love them as a couple or Ana as a character - no judgement, Billy is my favourite character on Lone Star and he's the villain. But I don't think there's anything racist or misogynistic about not liking them as a couple or her as a character? For me, I dislike her because she's a nothing character, and they wasted what could've been a great arc of Eddie dating again on a character who quite frankly should've been finished in Season 3.
And I kind of get why they brought her back - because of Covid, and Christopher already knows her, so it's easier for them to be like "oh they're a couple now and Christopher is cool with it!" but like... it's cheating the audience because we don't get to see any of that relationship developing.
And how can you be invested in a couple when you have no idea what their relationship is even about or why they're attracted to each other?
I definitely feel like Tim/the writers realised very quickly (after 4x08) how negatively people felt about her as a character and significantly decreased her screentime, which a) fine by me but also b) that means we didn't get to see any development.
I also think that sometimes people hedge their bets and say "well if Buddie isn't endgame, Eddie and Ana are so cute!" as a way to be like "yeah listen I always knew they weren't going to make them endgame and I always liked Eddie and Ana so I'm fine with this," which I personally think is dumb.
