(little idea I had that Henry really doesn't like cold weather, maybe from a past issue or situation? You can decide. Copperrightrosemin btw)
Reginald took a long sip of his coffee as his eyes were glued to a book he had found. Only looking away when he heard the front door open and the sound of chatter and footsteps. Ellie and Right were back from the store.
"Holy shit!- Finally! I'm so cold, stupid snow!" Ellies voice echoed down the hall and Reginald could hear right laughing. "Is only snow Els. No need to freak." Right mused.
"Before you bring the groceries in here, take everything snow covered off. I don't want snow all the over the place just for it to melt and become a hazard, thanks." Reginald said, voice raised so the 2 could hear him.
"Will do! I'm not even coming in there I'm taking a shower!" Ellie replied. "Wh- Hey! Who's gonna help me with all these groceries?" Right retorted.
"Uh Reg? Duh?" Ellie said then darted up the stairs. Reginald chuckled, getting up and helping right take the bags of groceries into the kitchen. "Where's 'enry?"
"In bed. Probably hibernating. You know how he gets with the cold." Reginald said. "Ah- I made some coffee earlier. Can you pour one out and bring it to him? I'm gonna start making dinner and I want him to be awake enough to join us." Reginald continued and right nodded.
Right entered their shared bedroom to see a large pile of covers in the corner of their bed. The covers didn't move until Right sat on the end of the bed, holding out the coffee. Right heard rustling and two hands and a head emerged from the blanket pile to take the coffee from Right.
"Good afternoon Henry, Reg is making dinner soon and he wants ya to be there." Right watched Henry take several sips of the coffee before he decided to speak.
"Thank you. I always hate this time of year, the cold just reminds me of too many winters in alleyways, nearly freezing to death and always so hungry. You think I would be over the silly traumatizing winters by now, but..."
Right pulled Henry close as he spoke "Hey, we all understand that. Trauma like that is just something that doesn't go away. And your trauma isn't silly, it is completely real and completely valid."
Henry finished the coffee as he slowly emerged from his cover cocoon. "I'm going to atleast help Reg with dinner, it doesn't feel too cold right now and the kitchen is bound to be warm, so I can manage. And thank you Right, sometimes my brain can get alittle sucky at me."
Henry hugged Right and kissed him before heading to the kitchen to help Reg with the cooking.
