@blasphering: liked for a starter (Rykard) (pre-shattering)
The few times that Radahn stepped foot out of his castle was either to head to the capital, or to visit his mother: accompanied by no less than at least one company of his knights and his trusted second in command, Ogha. This visit was... a new one, to say the least, and the only time where he went alone: Ogha disagreed, getting him to stay behind at Redmane was a damned miracle.
‘You’re our General, everyone knows what you look like. What’s to say that there isn’t going to be some bold assassin who aims to do you in when you are beyond our eyes?’
He shakes his head, partly from amusement and partly from exasperation: They’d have to be exceptionally stupid to attempt on his life, even without considering his greatswords (currently strapped to his back alongside his trusted bow), his sorcery (how did so many manage to actually forget that he was a sorcerer?) -
An insistent whinny brings the general out of his thoughts. Leonard nudges at his leg. Ah, right, Rykard would be expecting him soon.
