Okay, so @booksrbetterthanpeople's Miraculous: Desconstructed Tales of Paris and @fayflutter's Apex Predator and her and @thefcguy's bad end aus ended up inspiring me to make another crossover story. This time, with Slugterra (if anyone remembers that).
Background
So, in this AU, the Surface and Slugterra discovered each other and eventually made tunnel systems similar to the slugs so people can go between the two. As a result, Slugs and slug-related crimes happen all around and under the world.
For generations, the Shanes have helped keep the peace among the two worlds, and their name is listed among the greatest heroes in the world, especially after Eli's escapades in stopping Dr. Blakk from destroying both worlds with his ghouls. And now, it's his daughter's turn.
In this AU, Megamorphs and the Elementals weren't discovered.
Story
Raymie Shane, the daughter of Eli and Trixie, moves to Paris to stay with some extended family, at her parents' recommendation, with her Flaringo slug partner, Matches, and ends up in Miss Bustier's class as another celebrity student.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on your view, her school life takes a turn when she has to adjust to the family business a bit early since Hawkmoth, with a never-before-heard-of power, appears in Paris and is searching for the Miraculous while corrupting people and slugs alike.
She now finds herself fighting and hunting this villain with two teammates. But unlike Ladybug and Cat Noir, she's doing it with only herself, her gear, and her slugs.
Unfortunately, her actions both in school and as a hero might alienate her from one of her teammates, whose envy might put Raymie at risk.

The daughter of the famous Eli Shane and Trixie Sting. Raymie is as brave and reckless as her parents. She's confident, outgoing, and a skilled slugslinger. Ever since she was a kid, she's been looking forward to inheriting her parents' duty to protect people and slugs alike.
As a child, the first slug she bonded with was a Flaringo slug she named Matches. Because of this, she doesn't want to inherit Burpy like her father did from her grandfather.
She eventually moves to Paris with some extended family to explore the world at her parents' recommendation. Due to her family background, she becomes one of Francoise Dupont's celebrities along with Adrien.
While in Miss Bustier's class, Raymie actually strikes up a friendship with Adrien, who admires her freedom. Unfortunately, it puts her at odds with Marinette and Chloe.
When Hawkmoth appears, Raymie ends up becoming the 'sheriff' of Paris and works with Ladybug and Cat Noir to stop him, without a Miraculous of her own. She's surprisingly effective due to her talent for slugslinging.
Raymie's Slugs
Matches, Slimer (the Lariet), and Rook (the Rammstone) are the slugs Raymie found while growing up. Her parents didn't want her to collect many until she was older.
Matches is the leader of her bandolier and is the most level-headed and responsible (but has a temper that he's not afraid to show).
Slimer is the lazy prankster of the trio. He loves messing with his sibling slugs, slinger, and others. He's her main utility slug and lets her zip around like Ladybug.
Rook is action-minded, excited for the next battle, and wants to get stronger to protect his slinger.
Marinette Dupain-Cheng
And now introducing Marinette in this au.
She found a Phosphoro slug and named it Shimmer. While she isn't much of a slugslinger, she and Shimmer are close, Shimmer acting as a light to let Marinette work on her designs in the dark.
Marinette tries to be friendly with Raymie. Unfortunately, Raymie's closeness to Adrien is driving her crazy. She develops a bit of an inferiority complex that eventually gets out of hand when spurred on by others. She slowly tries to sabotage Raymie's image in school and as a hero as a result.
She can use her yo-yo to launch slugs like a blaster.
Adrien Agreste
Adrien got a Blastipede slug he named Boomer as the last gift he ever got from his mother before she vanished. He's a rather big fan of the Shanes due to studying their history and admiring their feats.
He and Raymie end up bonding as the new kids and being celebrities. However, the media loves to question if there's more to their relationship, especially since there have been times Raymie saves him. But they're only friends, with Raymie being one of the few people not trying to date him, or get him to date a friend of hers.
He still likes Ladybug, but might grow worried if he notices her actions toward Raymie later on, since Ladybug won't start sabotaging right away.
Raymie represents the freedom he dreams of and is happy to be her friend, especially since his father is content with their connection and even allows Adrien to go with her on adventures, like going to Slugterra to collect more slugs for future Akumas, to build a connection with the Shane family.
He can use his staff like a blowgun to launch slugs.
