Slugterra Community Events Discord server: Slug Fight What's in the Slug Fight server?

The Slug Fight server hosts Slugterra based community events (such as Slug Fight, Slugtember and Slugmas Slug Swap). It also has outlets to share the community's art, writing, memes, original characters, theories, etc and habours a fun place to hang out with other fans of the TV series!

Events in the Server: - Slug Fight (every May) - based on the popular art fight where artists split off into two teams and create fan art of each others' OCs for team points. A fun and communicative event to meet other artists in the fandom and their OCs for the wonderful world of Slugterra

- Slugmas in July (July 11th - July 25th) - Runs like a mash-up of Secret Santa and art/story trades. You put up on a google form what you'd like to receive as a gift (before July 11th), then your name and prompts are given another person. That person will pick one or more of your prompts to either draw or write a story for and then give it to you on the 25th of July of their timezone.

- Slugtember (All September) - A month long daily art challenge based on prompts that are given before Sept 1st (typically in the last week of August). You draw what the prompt entails.

- Ghouloween (October 31st) - Share some spooky art or fan fictions for the spooky month.

- SlugSwap (December 11th - December 25th) - Same as Slugmas in July, though this time it's for the December holidays.

- Slinger's Day (February 14th) - Valentines day art sharing; both romantic and platonic shipping! (do be clear on what the ship is to avoid too much trouble!)

- April Fools! (April 1st) - Draw some silly memes and post memes you find (preferably with credits!)

- Easter Slug Hunt - April during Easter - A silly fun day to create puzzles and such for others to solve. Draw slugs as easter eggs and have fun!

To the Toxic Twin Sisters (those pop star sisters). Are there other Slug pop groups similar to 'Off the Hook' and 'Deep Cut' that you know of?

Also the Flatuo Rex is my favorite of the Toxic Sisters. She's so cute.

The Neotox sister spoke first, "Actually, we're cousins. My name is Nanally."

"And I'm Fadia," the Flauto-rex sister added. "Thank you for the compliment!"

Nanally followed up, "At the moment, they're getting ready for their debut on the stage. We'll keep the director updated for when they're ready to show up."

Alchemist, why are you attacking the cameraman? That's the second time you did it. Also do you have an actual name?

"The cameraman is okay; he's been through worse," the director explained as the camera flicked back to life. They glared daggers at the Alchemist. "For the record, his name is [REDACTED]- Oi! Quit muting me!"

The Enlightened Alchemist huffed as his hands dropped to his sides. "My name is not of their concern."

Can we know the roles of other characters if they were in a Hero Shooter like Junjie, Dandy, Grindel, Olivia, etc.?

To the Alchemist. Can you do a sick kickflip on a skateboard?

The cold wind blows across the camera's lens. It's quiet. Too quiet.

From the distance, the camera sees a flash of light. It zips closer before the camera feed goes pitch black.

"Oh come ON Alchemist! These cameras aren't cheap you know!" the rage of the ask director roars.

The Slug It Out 2 devs made a post on their Instagram naming a Neotox and Flautorex pair as the 'Toxic Sisters' so I decided to turn them into gijinkas.

(Edit; I've given them names; Nanally the Neotox and Fadia the Flatulo Rex. Their names came from the game "Neverness to Everness")

I had a lot of help for outfit design and traced the posing over Callie and Marie (the Squid Sisters from Splatoon)

Zeta, you have 24 cousins? How many siblings do you have? And are there any notable members of your family that would likely play a big role in Northbound?

"I have four siblings. I am the youngest of them all. They are safe with my mother elsewhere in Harefield Cavern. I dare not to bring them into the horrors I have pushed myself to partake in to heal our father."

*A large hulking man in a black suit named 'The Boss' approaches Trip*

"Hey! You! Pink chump with the shades and red outfit. Are those bots from that Burpy's BBQ place still available or have they already been scrapped? I'm willing to buy them for a good price. They can make me RRRRIIIICCCCHHHH!"

Trip shrugged, "I have zero clue. I only have what files weren't destroyed. You could probably try to see if there's anything left in the abandoned building. Or send some smuck to do it. You look like the type of guy to send off your night guard to get their pay's worth."

Hey Grindel, Zeta, have any of the Nagas from Grindel's former clan tried to attack/kill you guys? If so, what did they try?

Also here are some baskets of various goodies made with lots of love for you two. You two deserve the love.

Zeta put his fist to his chest, "There was only one attempt on my teacher's life. That horrid enemy was swiftly dealt with as Madam Delta sent a powerful blast from her blaster to destroy him. He was the final warning to all the Naga folk who dared to remove her for something she did not control."

They gingerly take the baskets, bowing their head respectfully.

If Mira, Trip, and various other characters were in a Hero Shooter like Overwatch, TF2 and Marvel Rivals, what would their roles be ranging from Defense/Tank, Offense/DPS, or Support/Healer?

Question for the creator, given that you don't celebrate the American's Father's Day, what day do you celebrate it on?

Father's Day in Australia is celebrated on the first Sunday in September

So hypothettically, if Grindel got drunk, how would she act?

She's a wine drinker at most.

But if she got to the point of drunk, she'd probably be sappy sooky drunk

Are the Slugterran Nagas an open species? Can I make a Naga OC?

Nagas are just snake folk similar to the ones found in other media, like Ninjago and D&D for example. So I cannot (and realistically no one else should) be able to say, "No you can't." The most I did was attempt to translate them into Slugterra's world building.

The only thing I can say is that for them to fit into the established fan world building I created, least within the European Caverns, they cannot be a half Naga unless they're shunned by their village/most of their race (a majority of the Naga believe in the purity of their race)

So Jackal, how did it go with taking Grindel (and maybe Zeta too) in that pizza place? What pizza did you guys order?

"Commander Beta was barred from the establishment." Grindel fanned herself with a folding fan.

She shows a message exchange on her table with Jackal.

Delta: "You have shown a disgusting disregard of the establishment's property. I am ashamed of you."

Beta: "That punk shad uit voming!"

Delta: "You are still drunk."

Zeta: "What exactly happened? I was away ordering food."

Beta: "I punched the beaver."

Zeta: "What beaver?"

Beta: "Freddih Fazbeavr."

Half naga? How does that work?

The original term of 'Nāgas' comes from Southeast Asian mythology to describe a snake creature with the upper body of a human, having arms, hands, torso and head of said human. This has been adapted to the current widely used race 'Naga' in fantasy settings.

For my Slugterra AU/worldbuilding, I named the race of snake folk as Naga because the race is descendants of dragons (same with the Reptilians) within the European Caverns. This also uses the common misconception (which I fell for) of Nagas and Lamias being different, though they are the same mostly in build. I though it be silly but also easy to understand that the Naga are snake folk by using Naga as their race name.

The proper term to describe a full on snake person that is used in Dungeons and Dragons is 'Yuan-ti' (I just recently looked this up). However, there's another popular term with 'Serpentine' used by other fantasy writers.

But in the ways of how a 'Half-Naga' works in this worldbuilding, Grindel simply was born to a Naga mother and a human father. DNA mixed and created what her village claimed to be a 'sin' on the Naga race.

Trip spun around in his swivel seat, "Place got shut down after the Shane Gang saved Mira and their slugs from being used as a make-shift generator. As for the guy behind it, rumor has it that one of his old 'associates' has been hunting him down and putting him through 'what he deserves'. I have my own thoughts on the situation... mainly because I already had seen everything. But I'll leave the rest up to your imagination."

He ended off with a big smirk.
