Shipping Shade the Echidna with Characters who aren't Knuckles is fun and y'all should try it sometimes.

Oh, so Blaze and Shade ended up divorcing! That's a bit of a surprise to me.

You can´t have everything. 

They weren´t fighting and didn´t part on bad terms either. Though it should be mentioned there has always been some underlying frustration caused by their respective sexualities ( Blaze being a sex repulsed asexual, Shade being a lesbian with an average drive ). They tried to make it work, but what can you do.

Their feelings just naturally resolved at some point and instead forcing it to work, they decided it would be better for them to divorce and raise their children as friends.
