A Guide to The Curse of Hyetal - Blaze

Before we begin: This was going to be part 1 in a series of AGtTCoH Elementals, using assets I had drawn for a project. I decided to scrap this format in favor of designing images that flowed better eventually. A few weeks ago, I lost all of the files for these little assets. Except for these, because this was the only post I had drafted up at the time. Instead of deleting this post, I'm posting it because these were some drawings I was very proud of. (Luckily, the project involved me printing out said project, and I still have the InDesign file, but the images themselves...don't exist anymore).

Blazes control the Element of fire. Any Blaze can manipulate fire, but the type matters to half-Blazes. Some half-Blazes can only bend fire that has already been lit, and therefore cannot create their own. Others can only bend fire they created.

There are a few ways to determine who is and isn't a Blaze. First, eye color. Blazes can have any eye colors between red, orange, and yellow.

Another way to tell is if they are comfortable in extreme heat; Blazes are naturally resistant to fire, or if they are Full blazes, they will be immune to burns.

Finally, marks on a Blaze's skin will glow. For example, when they blush, any freckles or beauty marks may glow. If they have scars, those will glow when they use their power.

The Elemental Spirit, Blaze Augustine, activates the power in those who have passion in their life--for a hobby, for an idea, for a goal, or for a person.
