The night consisted of a very intimate and connecting show between a lively crowd and a group of talented artists.
It began with an impressive performance by a jazz infused, diverse artist named dANNY tRASH. He pulled in compelling vocals through a range of different styles of songs. Even when his guitar string broke, it allowed him the chance to display these talents.

Next up was house of Pharaohs resident Sam Wise (wam size) , the main event. He began by energising the crowd with ‘DO OR DIE’ a song which seems to be almost made for getting a crowd going that will definitely leave you either shouting or jumping. Accompanied on the decks by ever talented hype man dam shaq who always brings energy to any event he arrives to.

Wise also brought through his fellow house of Pharaohs member, Blaze YL. Blaze played his stand out song ‘Boss’ which seems to shut down every venue I’ve ever seen it be played at. He also has a new song out named ‘No delay’ which hits as hard as the others.

Amongst a slightly smaller set that I’ve seen him play before, Sam Wise played some stand out songs including people’s favourite ‘Lizzie’, but also his new song ‘LED’ the first single of a project he has teased about dropping soon. The song maintained a lively atmosphere at the same time as chilling it down, with the eery ‘yeah, yeah’, soothing beat and clever lyrics. Even though he has started off strong the man from London is developing into a well rounded, prominent and influential character in this growing music scene.
