she's a bit distracted today, honestly. her brain is a bit scattered despite knowing she should be focused. she can't help it ! it takes far longer than she cares to admit to notice zuki and when she does notice the girl, she just blinks for a moment. finally, she clears her throat, turning on her heel to look at her properly.

she could certainly hold her own if she were to be disarmed. it was just that she preferred having her weapon with her, preferred having the ability to use her powers if given the chance. maybe she leaned a little too much into it, something perhaps she should work on.

laugh bubbles up as grin spreads even wider as she stares at him, cheek in palm. she had other things to be doing, of course, but whenever she came across him she just had to try and get a reaction. even one like this was enough for her until the next time they met.

crossing the border, going up to the sphere, it was all stupid in her eyes. that was a place she could live without ever seeing again, could live without ever hearing about again. and yet it seemed to chase her no matter where she went. dealing with the cleaners meant she ran into rudo who was so determined to get back that it made her sick. and dealing with the raiders meant she had to deal with zodyl who was determined to get there to destroy it. it all made her stomach twist and her chest tight.
