Hello rarepair hell here’s my otp’s family!
Some kuans and their proud mothers on their first day on the job
So kinda had this au within my bleach:dye au where the kids encounter their parents at different times/universes
TYBW Round 3 is out on BBS, so I wanted to draw the three in my Bleach:Dye uhhhh AU? I finally came up with a name to tag my Bleach AU with my designs and stories about IchiIshi’s kid and a whole slew of other parings I ship kids.
Anyway, I realized the only Bleach:Dye design of the non ocs is of Rukia, so I’m trying to work on that for Ichigo and then Renji.
Sode’s in the kitchen with Byakuya making a Chappy and Seaweed Ambassador-themed birthday breakfast.
Because she’s still just a smol child who can’t wear her dad’s clothes because they’d be too big on her.
Auntie Rukia is not surprised – her own kids do the same thing.
Some Kuchiki kids since I haven’t been drawing in a more anime-like style lately. I mean, I’ve been influenced by anime for a long time, so pretty much all my drawings will resemble anime, but I haven’t drawn anything intentionally anime in a while.
Anyways, time to introduce Natsuko, adoptive daughter of Byakuya and next heir to the Kuchiki clan! … Or something like that. I’m still fleshing out her story, but I feel like I’m getting there.
I know that looks like Rukia, but it isn’t.
That’s her daughter, that I made up. And if you don’t know already, I ship Rukia with Sode no Shirayuki, so if you put two and two together…
Ah sorry! I wasn’t really sure how to introduce the girls, so there’ll be more information under the cut.
The girl in the middle is Saki and the one on the right is her twin sister, and shinigami, Mitsu. Saki is a zanpakuto. They are the daughters of Rukia and Sode no Shirayuki.
Now, as the children of a shinigami and her zanpakuto, they inherit most of their genes from the shinigami, with a few exceptions. For one, they have Sode no Shirayuki’s eye color. They’re also taller than Rukia (well, they will be when they get older.)
Moving onto the picture, the girls are on their first day at Shino Academy, but there’s a problem – Saki is a zanpakuto, and Shino Academy teaches shinigamis. Saki and Mitsu worked hard on the entrance exams, so when Saki learns that she can’t join the academy with her sister, she becomes pretty disheartened.
After sulking for a bit, Sode no Shirayuki talks with her. Saki reveals that she was going to accept her fate as being her sister’s zanpakuto, nothing more nothing less. This reminds Sode no Shirayuki of her own self worth issues as a zanpakuto as revealed in the zanpakuto arc from the anime. By this time, she would have already worked out most of those feelings, falling back into them every once in a while, but having not only Rukia but others to help her get through it.
Sode no Shirayuki gets kinda angry at the Academy and starts ranting about how they let a former not really traitor (Yoruichi) and a quincy (Uryu) teach at the school, but won’t let Saki learn with her sister. What she doesn’t notice is that she basically inspired Saki to go to school anyways, knowing who those teachers are since their kids are her friends. Nobody notices Saki sneaking into the school, not her saddened sister, her angry mom (who has also snuck into the school to have a word with someone), and not her captain mom (who later reprimands both her wife and her kid, but not too much. She’s too proud of them.)
And that’s pretty much it. Sorry it’s kinda long, but hey, at least there’s a cut.
Oh and it’s been roughly 200 years, so the Karakura kids are dead, explaining why Uryu is teaching at the academy.
