Like. Well, okay, fuck me then I guess. And fuck her too. What the hell. Trust broken. See if I ever tell her anything again.

This is one of those situations I dreaded ever being caught in. Where I confess something in confidence and trust and get soundly rejected. I’m not going to stop being me just because someone refuses to believe me when I tell them my truths. But even so. It hurts.

I am going to start telling people my birthday is on December 20th.

It’s my birthday. It’s the one I had in my last life. It’s also the day I’m more used to accepting as my birthday. In this new life I was born in spring, but I’m no spring child. I have ice in my eyes, hoarfrost in my voice, and the echo of a dragon in my soul.

Is it - normal for people like us to remember more than just the one past life? Am I the odd one out? It astounds me that the reincarnation cycle is so out of balance that some people have memories from over 50 lives ago. I don't know, it just seems like the Soul King might be slacking a little on the paperwork. (or dead. again.)
