We finally made it to the popfest and met the organizers Maz Alhalid and Clyde Barretto, extremely nice people who gave us this chance to be part of the festival. We can't believe we don't have any photos with them. Hopefully, something will surface for a future post. Thank you again Maz and Clyde!
The video above by BlearyEyedBrooklyn.com is of this wonderful band from Spain called Cola Jet Set! Though it doesn't take much to get us paranoid about our playing live in practically every gig, this band got everyone in the venue dancing and both of us considering a trip back to Manila. Their song arrangements were so impressive and their melodies were really lovely.
The main vocalist/keyboardist, Alicia is half Filipina. We were so glad to meet her the next day along with Felipe (guitars) and Ruth (backing vocals, percussion, guitars). We'll post more photos later.
