Craig Boone was a fixture around Novac more in theory than in practice; everyone knew he was there up in the big dinosaur statue with his rifle ready, but nobody ever really saw him. The night shift was to thank... and the fact that he rarely showed his face anywhere else aside from his nest in Dinky or his room in the hotel. 

But here he was at the medical tent in the wee hours, just off his shift-- greeting some new faces in the small town. Boone was still for a moment, staring through his sunglasses. 

“Looking for a medic.”

Bombshell

Hopefully the city of Boston wasn’t quite as terrible as it seemed to be in Lexington; overrun with ghouls and crawling with raiders. But it was Roxy’s path to get to Boston, to the cities within, and hopefully to somebody who could help her out. 

But it seemed as she made her way further into Lexington she wasn’t the only one who needed help. 

It was a fairly well-armed Raider camp she was skirting around, and the body parts hanging from chains and ropes were... pretty common; super mutant, ghoul, human pieces meant to intimidate all of them away.

And robot, apparently. The robot was fairly whole, though, and fully dressed... and was trying to reach upside-down onto the ground to grope for a few things on the cement floor. “Come on... shit. Almost there...” 

It looked like the raiders were off for the time being, but it was clear it wasn’t going to be long.

Finally there was a moment to catch their breath. If there was any aftermath of their chaos, they rightly couldn’t see it. Not that they were looking -- it was exhausting work, after all. With a small sigh Six found a seat beside Roxy, finally letting herself breathe. In her hands was a box of Sugar Bombs that she promptly extended to her partner in crime.

“Here you are Ro,” Six smiled with a little shake of the box, “Have some with me.”

It had been his day off; a rare occasion and a rarer occasion still that it was just him at home. But Russo’s ‘me day’ took a turn in the evening when he found himself glued to the television, watching live coverage of the fire and trying not to bite his nails.

The Chevalier had to tell himself more than a few times that he would be a liability more than anything if he were there. So Russo sat still, and when a call to come didn’t come in he felt some relief. 

He was at the door when Roxy came in, a soft smile on his face. “I’d personally choose the bad guys,” the Chevalier answered softly as he reached out to help her inside. “But I don’t stand as good of a chance against the fire.”

“So how’d that dinner go, anyway?” He may have slipped out near the end when he saw the ‘targets’ were gone.
