𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐬 and she lets the rhythm guide her , hands in the air and eyes closed for a while. When she laughs it comes from the pit of her stomach as she throws her head back. Festivals were her favourite part of the year. The colours , the sounds , the smells. They drew her in and never would she leave until the lights closed and the sun came back up the next day. In a crowd of dancing bodies , she relishes in the freedom of an open street being her stage. Most of those that had come out were like herself , letting themselves go ; whether expertly or not. So the girl in the corner , almost curled in on herself , catches her attention almost IMMEDIATELY. ❝ Doll face ! ❞ She’s practically screaming over the volume , waving as if it’ll help a stranger recognize her. When it doesn’t , she doesn’t waste time and instead eases over to the blonde to hold her hands out to her. ❝ A pretty girl like you deserves the lime light. Whatcha say , come dance with me ? ❞

“You know, I always wondered why humans are so... touchy?” Shock eyed the girl, head tilting in a curious manner. “I mean, I don’t know what I mean..” She laughed some. “I don’t get why we had to come to this stupid world anyways.. I thought Halloweentown was home but clearly not.” She sighed.
Sure, Shock was around the age of 17-19 in human form but she still had the child like mentality that her and her brothers had back home and it seemed to have stuck with her when they came to this world. Oogie tried his best or rather just shushed them away but he did seem to attempt to explain to her and her brothers why they had to go to this world with these other... “people”. The mere humans that always were terrified of her and her fellow Halloweentown community.
Shock wasn’t fond of this world, not like her brothers. They loved it more than she did. “Anyways, what’ve you been up to Bells?” She asked curiously, a small grin forming on her face.

In general, there was a very, very short list of people that could boss him around successfully and anyone with eyes could tell that the demand of a dance didn’t come from Uma. Anyone with ears could do the same.
In fact, maybe anyone with sense would know. (After all, if Uma wanted to dance, then he’d dance with her, no demands necessary.)
But it wasn’t Uma, it was Bella, and while Harry didn’t cave to her demands, there was the fact that her pouts and puppy-dog eyes did tend to be something that left Harry inclined to take her words into consideration. In this particular case, he needed to think about it for about half a second before grinning at Bella and reaching out to take her hand, pulling her into him and settling his other hand on her hip.
“You know I can’t turn down a pretty girl,” He teased easily as he began to spin her around, determined to make the most of the party.
“ . . .so. what you’re telling me, is that i’m in a place call auradon and i’m NOT dreaming ? “ she looks at the blonde, brows furrowed together in thought. “ . . oh. oh dear. oh no. “ she breathes before pacing up and down. “ how did i get HERE ? “
