Romance..was hard to muster when your love was a mobster. But, somehow they achieved it. Rose petals, lingerie, alcoholic chocolates.. and liquor infused fruit..Most men would kill for that, right? After all...how did you swoon over a man who acted like he was a monster..when at the end of the day? His stone heart was warmer than magma.. But she wasn’t expecting much from him for Valentine’s day, she was assuming he didn’t even realize the holiday was here..so, this is why she was doing all of this.  So..when he walked into their room and she was sat in the middle of a heart shaped rose with petals..she grinned. “Happy Valentine’s Day.”

She knew countless people that were nervous for their pairing.. and while Paige certainly was among them, there was a certain amount of relief she gained once she was able to get out of the home she had been raised in. Though to say that she wasn’t scared was a lie. The idea that the man she was paired with could potentially be just the same as her Father was a terrifying one...but nonetheless she stepped onto that train and settled into her seat. She knew what her own packet would say... knew that it would make her out to be from a religious family, that she enjoyed art to a certain extent and could do all of what was required of her as a wife. 

Slipping from the train once it finally reached its destination, Paige reached to push her hair behind her ear, glancing around the station slowly as she attempted to find the man she was to call her husband...

Santiago gave them a once over, eyes stuck on their outfit. He had dressed for the occasion, as he usually would have but this... he had never seen anything like it. Hesitant at first to comment on it, he could not hold in his question any longer. “You’re not wearing that, are you?”

Wrists were twisted as feminine yet well-worked hands gripped the ledge of the sink. Aubree’s back was slopped to help her lean forward to gaze at her face in the mirror. She absorbed her own features as she gazed in the mirror. Her slender nose were in between a pair of hazel eyes that were overshadowed by fluffy, false lashes. Above her square jaw sat plump, lipstick-painted lips.

“I’m hot,” she said in disbelief. Although the firetruck red haired-girl sounded like she was convincing herself, it was more so for Aleksey in the next room. How had he not tried to go after her before? That was what she thought this drawn out cat and mouse game they were supposedly playing was. How could he not want this? He had to. “Yeah, I’m hot.”

After justifying her confidence (that seemed to be more weary than Groundhog Day predictions), Bree marched back into the living room. The man was sitting on the couch, observing a photo she had of The Gatti Gang framed on her window sill. This was it. She walked toward him with purpose. By the time, she reached the gentleman, Bree was pressing her hands onto his shoulders and straddling him. “Date me.”

He has gotten adopted... but that doesn’t mean we can’t find a different brown tabby for you to be his role model.

 A: an uplifting song - It’s Time by Imagine Dragons. It’s actually an old favorite of mine,

C: a song from a soundtrack - Supermasive Black Hole by Muse (twilight soundtrack). Not a fan of the movie, but super fan of this song. There’s just something about it.

K: a song I know all the lyrics to - Zombie by The Cranberries. It’s my favorite song of all time, and my go too karaoke song. (RIP Dolores O'Riordan).

Z: a randomly chosen song - Evangelist by Matt Corby. This song gives me chills every time I listen to it. Seriously incredible if you like that kind of music.
