I've got an AU where while Ray, Emma, and co are staying at Norman's Tree Paradise (much longer than canon) Norman ends up liberating a farm with ~100 babies (under 1 year) and obviously he can't just LEAVE them so he brings them back and basically all of the older kids get to raise one of these babies. Ray, Norman and Emma are mostly the ones who name them. And they mostly just wrote names down for Anna to attach to each baby. By pure (in universe) coincidence, Don ends up with the little girl named Conny (Interestingly other than naming babies after their fallen comrades, the trio have their own naming preferences. Norman names them after virtues and such, like Liberty and Gabriel and Emma gives common names and nature type names, like Lucy and Robin. Ray gives literary and unusual names like Seneca and Yana)

Sans: he’ll look up, and with the same straight face, and an unamused monotone voice, finish the song with you. If papyrus is there, he leaves the room immediately. You both share a victory fist bump and begin eating like nothing happened

Honey: you don’t even get to the first chorus before he breaks. He’s laughing so hard that he can’t even speak. He’s can’t breathe. He doesn’t even have lungs, but he’s still struggling. It’ll take like 5 minutes to calm down, and it will probably start a terrible laugh cycle where you start laughing because he’s laughing then he starts laughing harder bc you’re laughing. Ah well you get the point

Red: if it’s just you two, then he’s going to enthusiastically (and terribly) belt out the lyrics with you. He’s so bad that it’s throwing you off and you both end up waaay off key. He’ll chuckle during the rest of the meal

Cash: he’s going to try to say it with you, but he can only get in one out of ever five words with how much he’s laughing. Now he expects you to “say grace” the next day but with a different song. If you don’t, he’ll do it himself. Weird al songs are a personal favorite of his.

Oak: he just stares at you with disbelief until you finish. Then he looks down, his shoulders start to shake, and you hear a low giggle to turns into a roar of laughter. Your nickname from now on is buns
