This was the record of the month for Vinyl Me Please in October of 2015.  I guess it's a pretty solid example of why I use VMP as a service because it's not only a record I wouldn't own otherwise, it's a record I never would have known about.  It is pretty typical VMP in that it has pretty packaging and they hyped it up in advance.  I still didn't quite know what I'd get at the time.

So this ended up being a pretty good album, it sort of has a certain mood.  It's a little sad, which I guess makes sense because you don't call an album The Will Be No Sad Tomorrow if you aren't filled with sadness at the moment.  It's pretty solid I suppose.  It does create a feeling and mood but the truth is I haven't listened to this since I got it last year.  I have never really felt the urge. Listening to it now that feels a little like a mistake but I am not filled with regret. It's just one of those things, this is a fine album and I am glad they introduced a larger world to it but it just doesn't quite catch me. I don't know what it is that keeps me at arms length but something does.  I feel like I should have more to say about all of this but I just don’t.  Nothing else is coming to mind even as I listen to it a second time looking for something to jump out.  It sure is pretty to look at though.
