Y’know, I think if I have one hidden, not exactly marketable skill, it’s apparently avoiding the toxic parts of fandoms? Not even like on purpose or anything, or at least not consciously, but, like...

Hearing about how Steven Universe, MLP, and Undertale are toxic is just buck wild to me. Like, I’ve liked these things and made friends from the fandom. I get good fanfics! Nice people! Friendship! Cool comics! It’s great!!!

Then I hear people say “oh that fandom is so toxic” and I’m like “what”. Like this ain’t ragging on anyone or apologism, I just don’t see it???

I guess I’m just over here playing in the sandbox, completely oblivious to any radioactive meltdowns that may or may not be occurring, but it’s fine ‘cause it doesn’t reach me. That said, I feel this mix of stupidity and relief when people point out the freaking explosion and I’m like “huh. When did that happen? Glad I wasn’t there for that” then go back to mine for gems in the sandbox with my friends.

Sim Requests + 200 Followers

So first of all my friends, let me say from the absolute bottom of my heart, thank you for 200 followers! I’ve made so many wonderful, smart, amazing friends over the last couple of months, I’ve had some great talks with you guys, learned new stuff and just had a really great time! I do what I do here because I enjoy doing it, but knowing that other people enjoy it too just makes it that much sweeter. So thank you, honestly and sincerely. 

I want to do something for y’all as a thank you, but as my followers probably know I’m not a creator of any kind of CC. I may or may not be learning, but I’m not there yet. So I’m trying to think of what might be nice, and I’m totally open to suggestions so please slide into my DMs or drop a comment if you have something you’d like to see! For example, one of my ideas was to maybe share one or two of my home recipes. I know a lot of people are cooking from home for the first time now, and for a lot of them it isn’t fun at all. I’ve always loved cooking, it’s an important part of my family, so I’d love to share that with y’all! But ye, send them suggesticles. 

One of the things I see people doing for follower milestones is sim requests, but I’ve always actually had sim requests open! I love making sims, I love seeing my sims in other people’s games and the whole thing just makes me super happy. So this is my formal announcement that my sim requests are open!

guys can you believe we’re going to see Fitz at three different stages of beardiness in one single episode

yesterday after a meeting i was trying to stack all these leftover muffins on a plate but one dramatically rolled off 

then one of the culinary staff (an elderly man) yelped so loud + high + cute LOL that it STARTLED me but then we both laughed after (also the muffin landed safely upright thank goodness)

but there’s honestly something really nice and warm when something like that happens and you can share a laugh with someone you don’t even know. like those little moments are so precious
