Gosh Cass you are!! A doll!! Seriously, you’re so much fun to chat with and throw ideas at. You have such a compelling interpretation of a character whose growth mostly comes through being broken- yet you give her so many opportunities to pick herself back up. You write her as strongly and competently as she deserves. And you really show the development in her characterization! Plus you just. Man. You always make me smile and giggle when we talk. You’re a wonderful person, and i hope you’re having a fantastic holiday season!!

█ ♛ █       It is very rare that there would be someone new – not here, this city was dead to the ages, if only until rebuilding and restoration and recreation of all that once was in the grand Telethia cage. How curious then, she thought this one. Godless world, she tenses up and fears for the worse, perhaps then she’d never be surprised.

       A skeleton had a job to do -- well, sort of. He was shifting his feet, looking around, Toriel hadn’t come to talk to him at the door today..

                    Was the loop starting again? 

        He gulped as he heard the door creek and instantly vanished to hide within the tree line. There was no way to know if this was going to be good or bad all he had to go on that it was starting again. 

                       At least that’s what he thought. 

      A voice called out and slowly, his worried, frightful expression changed. Shoulders were laid back, fingers finding their snug place within his coat’s pockets. Slowly moving at first, watching the person turn their head as he shifted from shadow to shadow. The pace quickened then, watching -- waiting for the female to turn as he casually walked right behind her. 

      This didn’t look like Frisk. That was a start -- but humans, were still not to be trusted right away. 

      “ Hey, don’t you know it’s rude to keep your back turned to a welcoming stranger? “ His voice chirped even though he was not happy, far from it. The one white glow of an eye kept focus on the other as he tried to smile just a bit more. “ I mean, you look pretty scared -- new to the area? Fall down and hit your head? “

         “ Eh, never mind it -- the name’s Sans, nice t’ meet ya’ miss. “

He let out an impatient hiss of breath and Kallian knew that she was purposely avoiding his gaze so that he couldn’t see the extent of the damage. None too gently, his hand grabbed her chin and forced her to look at him. It wasn’t as bad as he thought at first except that large cut across her bottom lip that was blooming as red as a rose. 

“Who did this, Melia? Tell me before I report this to father.” He threatened coldly.
