Yeah, same. I let it go for a while, and then finally just decided I didn't need that kind of negativity on my dash making me feel even more like I'm not "different" enough to consider myself marginalized. It was just one more thing on top of all my gender insecurities, and I had enough. I'll unfollow anyone who posts anything exclusionary tbh. There's no hierarchy of who's more marginalized than who - everyone different faces a different sort of valid oppression.
And you know what? So many of the people who are trans, gay, bi, etc and aro or ace feel this way. Like I don’t appreciate people saying some parts of my identity make me welcome in the community and others don’t. I don’t appreciate people telling ace/aros to go and make their own community because LGBT doesn’t include them.
It used to be LGB. It used to not include trans people. It used to be lesbian and gay and exclude bi and trans people. We as a community are constantly evolving as we understand new genders and sexualities and people excluding aro/aces makes me, a bi trans ace person, feel disgusting.
