Does Aphantasia make it difficult to do art? I know one of my friends who's more creatively inclined has it but he rarely talks about it. Hopefully im not being nosey 😅

oh no, not nosey at all, don’t worry! I don’t think it makes it difficult, but that’s only because people with aphantasia have never known anything different?  It’s really hard to miss something that you never knew was missing to begin with.

Being creative and having a minds eye are definitely two different things entirely so it’snot really a hindrance! Just harder to conceptualize pieces before drawing them out. If anything i think because we lack the ability to see it in our heads that we’re more inclined to draw it out? Maybe that’s just me though.
