The Boedell Legacy has been my baby since July 2016. I was only going to do 10 Generations, but I continued on to where it is now, Generation 15 and unfortunately, my save was destroyed so all I have is my story left.

There are no more postings, but I wanted to do an epilogue for all of you followers so you know how the story ends....

Prior to Tiberius being banned he stole the ring from the realm vault, he knew if he could use the ring on Ulysses he could destroy him. However, his uncle Michael found him as he knew Tiberius was the one that stole the ring.  He convinced Tiberius to give him the ring, as Michael told him he was not yet strong enough to control the powers of the ring.

When Michael used the ring on Ulysses at the fake coronation ceremony, it backfired. Michael was killed immediately, and Mila’s powers were stripped.  Unknown to everyone, her powers went into the ring, which Elias grabbed and secured back into the vault. Other witches dies during this catastrophe, and when they found out that it was Tiberius that stole the ring, they voted to ban him, and he went to Selvadorada with his grandmother.

Fast Forward to the current time.

Again, Tiberius knows that the witch causing the problem in San Myshuno is his grandfather.  Who else would create vampire hybrids? He goes to San Myshuno to see if he can find him, as he has no idea in what form he is now, as it has been eight years. Cristine Jones, the Coven Master of San Myshuno promised to locate the witch’s hideout.  In the meantime, Tiberius again, takes the ring from the vault, but this time with the Realm’s knowledge. He convinces, with the help of his grandfather, Alex... Joseph, his mother and even Jules that this is the only way to finish off Ulysses once and for all.  But no one else is to go to San Myshuno, except for Tiberius and Joseph.

When they arrive in San Myshuno, Cristine tells them she located Ulysses, but that they are not going to like the form he has taken. Tiberius says he doesn’t care, regardless of whose body he has taken, he must be destroyed. Cristine, Joseph and Tiberius make their way into the hideout, and when Joseph sees Ulysses he can not do what Tiberius is asking.  As the body that Ulysses is in, is that of Michael Boedell, Joseph’s dead father. Tiberius recalls his grandfather’s warning about walking with the devil...he knew....

Ulysses attacks Joseph first throwing him to the ground, unconscious, then he attacks Cristine, as Tiberius calls upon the powers of the ring, and all the powers of his dead ancestors, including Michael.  Michael’s powers are released from Ulysses and Tiberius sends one huge magical blast upon him, and he disintegrates... kind of anti-climactic

The evil was finally eliminated once and for all. When they go into Ulysses chambers they find that he was behind all the destruction, and deaths of the Boedell family for centuries.  From the death of Josiah in the car accident with his wife, to the evil dark magics used years ago by the Jones sisters, to the plane crash that killed Thymian and her husband....

Tiberius is lauded a hero and is unanimously voted in as the Realm Master, for life.  Which in his case would be forever, as he is immortal. However, he turns it over to Joseph, as he knows his work is complete with the death of Ulysses. Joseph in turn asks Tiberius to rule with him, together. 

Joseph states that, Two are stronger than one. And family is more important than magics. So together, Tiberius and Joseph rule the realm.  Tiberius’ new quest is to find an antidote for his immortality. Joseph marries Colin. 

Neither of them have offspring, and the ....

ELIAS- “Have you walked with the Devil, Tiberius?”

TIBERIUS- “I think you know the answer to that, Grandfather.”

ELIAS- “Well, listen to me then… the only way to change the course of events that are about to take place is to shake his hand, and tell him that you are better than him, and walk ahead of him.”

TIBERIUS- “I don’t understand, Grandfather.  Your riddles have always been difficult for me.”

ELIAS- “Tiberius, this is no riddle.  You have been walking with him long enough.  It is time, you show him that he is not who he thinks he is, and that you are the Prince. You were destined for this, and he knows it, that is why he has tried for generations to stop it. Shake his hand, and tell him goodbye, Tiberius. Your grandfather, Prince Ulysses couldn’t, and wouldn’t. Your father had no power, and your mother is now also powerless, and your cousin, Joseph would be over taken by him.  Only you can do this. But there must be NO hesitation. Once you look him in the eye, and take his hand, it must be done. Regardless of who is there with you, and who may fall.”

TIBERIUS- “But how will I know----

ELIAS- “Who he is?  Oh, Tiberius, you will know, just as sure as you are standing here, you will know. When you look at pure evil in the eye, there will be no doubt in whose eyes you are looking into.”

TIBERIUS- “Very well, I understand now. But before I go, I can touch you Grandfather. The ring I now wear holds the power of healing----”

ELIAS- “NO!!  You can not, Tiberius! Listen closely, again at what I say, there can be nothing...NOTHING gained by changing the course of one's life.  Do you understand?  It isn’t about the consequences of misusing our gifts, it is the power of nature that will ultimately win, regardless of what we do to try and change it. That is how you will win this battle Tiberius, because what the devil has done is changing the course of nature.  Once you take back that control, you win.  We all win.  And I do not want to stay here any longer, my time is over now and I will leave, as will Alex in time. You must focus on the task at hand. Do not be sidetracked, or caught off guard. Shake his hand, and take the control and walk away, turning your back to him. And don’t do as Job’s wife. Do not look back.  Do you completely understand now?”

TIBERIUS- “Yes, I do sir.”

ELIAS- “Very well, then go.  Now. Use those powers that I have heard others speak of and leave this place, and do what you were destined to do. And Tiberius, I have always loved you. These things that transpired had to be.”

With Elias’s words, Tiberius stood, kissed Elias on the forehead, then went to his grandfather’s window and simply vanished. Elias lowered his head upon the pillow, smiled and then passed from this life.

Alex was correct about Ty wanting to see his grandfather, Elias. When Tiberius left, Elias was strong and healthy, now he was frail and close to the end. The cancer had ravaged him, and the doctors are saying that it was just a matter of months. He requested to go home instead of staying in the hospital. Alex had called ahead to advise Mila and Jules that Tiberius would be there to see his grandfather…

When Tiberius arrived at the Boedell House, his mother greeted him at the door.  Not much had changed about his childhood home, the furnishings were the same, the portraits of Thymian and Nico hung by the fireplace, and the fragrance of jasmine permeated the air.  Mila grabbed her son and held him in her arms.  Tiberius felt her spirit, and her love.

MILA- “Tiberius, you look amazing, and such a man now. It is so good that you came, father asks about you often.  He is going to be delighted to see you.”

Jules was standing in the doorway to the kitchen, she and Ty’s eyes met at the same time.

JULES- “Hello Tiberius.” Jules didn’t even try to hide her disdain that he was in their home.

TIBERIUS- “Well at least he will be delighted to see me, as I can tell my evil stepmother isn’t...and for the record Jules, this is actually my home.”

JULES- “I see some things haven’t changed, probably most things about you haven’t changed, but you are doing much better at reading a vampire mind.”

TIBERIUS- “It helps when there isn’t much of a mind there to read. Julie.”

MILA- “Please...both of you, let’s not do this, Okay?  He is here to see his grandfather, and he will go-----

TIBERIUS- “Yes, I will go once I speak with Elias. No worries Jules.”

JULES- “He is upstairs in his room.  The nurse has prepared him for your visit.”

Eight years and now it is just referred to as...The Incident, because of Ulysses’ I desire to become realm master, or LORD of WITCHES as he called it.  He came back in the body of his own brother, Antoni Rocha, a prince of Selvadorada, and a powerful witch. Then after the War of the Witches, he returned in the body of his very own son, Neville Rocha, it was Neville’s body that came to the graduation party for me, and Joseph that to begin his plan to seat me as the realm master, then destroy me, and take the throne for himself.

The council met, and discussed how to finally defeat this monster, that seemed to live on in the bodies of those he had taken.

SIMON- “He controls their bodies, so we know his spirit is stronger than any witch, we have ever encountered.  We will have to look into the dark magics to conquer him, that is the only way.”

MILA- “I agree, Simon, this magic he uses is black magics, and the only way to defeat it is to use it against him.”

ALEX- “Tiberius and Joseph, should in no way be involved in this, especially Tiberius, as he is a descendant of this evil magic, and it could be dangerous to him.”

TIBERIUS- “But me being of his blood may be the only thing that can destroy it, Grandfather!! “

MILA- “No!  Ty. I agree with Alex, we can not take that chance.  He could kill you, then take your body, along with your gifts and powers, and he would be indestructible and we would have no way to defeat him then.”

TIBERIUS- “Mother, he can not kill me!! and grandmother said----

ALEX- “Ty, you are his ultimate goal.  He knows about you, and knows you are immortal, if he can control you and take over---”

TIBERIUS- “I will not let him, Grandfather!”

SIMON- “I am sorry Tiberius, but it was your grandmother that lead him back here and allowed him to return to her coven, even though she knew of the dangers. And he very well, could kill you. We do not know just what powers he possess”

MICHAEL- “I know a way we can end this.”

ELIAS- “No Michael, I will not allow it.  We do not know the effects of what it will do to you.”

MICHAEL- “It is the only way to stop him, father.  When Simon researched it, he linked it back to the old Rocha clan. It was created by them centuries ago, and now that it has all of the elements in place, it is the only thing we have to take him out.”

MILA- “When you wore it before, Michael, it almost destroyed you, your spirit and your gifts.”

SIMON- “We do not know what the effects would have if we used this on Ulysses, being created by his ancestors, it very well could act as energy, and make him even stronger. I have to agree with your fathers Michael, we can not allow you to use that ring.”

TIBERIUS- “Then let me!!”

Elias, Simon, Mila and Alex in unison--- “NO!”

Tiberius knew now, just as he did that day of his graduation what need to be done, and who the Devil was that Elias spoke of.  But in what form had he returned? He had to be the one that was creating the hybrids in San Myshuno.  Was he was raising an army? He had to locate him and destroy him once and for all.  He remembered that day just before the incident, the day they buried his father…. his grandmother Aniceta’s warning…..

ANICETA- “The name Rocha means, “one who is from/of the rock".

“Like rocks, witches are created in the same manner- a metaphor actually. A rock is any naturally occurring solid mass or aggregate of minerals or mineraloid matter. It is categorized by the minerals included, its chemical composition and the way in which it is formed. 

These minerals are our “gifts’

The chemical compounds are the environment in which we are created.Or how we learn of those gifts and how they are to be used.

The name of your father, and his grandfather before him, Ulysses is a Latin and English variant of Odysseus. Odysseus is an ancient Greek name, derived from the Greek name Odyssesthai, which means 'full of wrath or to hate'. 

And have you not heard the story of Odysseus and the beautiful witch, Circe?

TIBERIUS - “How she turned his men into swine, and would have done the same to him? But he was forewarned by Hermes and instead kept company with her….”

ANICETA - “You know your ancient mythology...well your father Sully’s grandfather was Ulysses I. My father...His Circe was a witch by the name of Cicely. A beautiful princess of the coven, my mother. She used her gifts of beauty, passion and romance to persuade him to her and to become her husband. When her father died, she then ruled the coven and she made Ulysses her Prince. She loved him so much that she went as far to give him all her power and gifts, he in return took over her reign and her coven, and created  “swine” so to speak. He used the gifts for his own gain and pleasure, and the dark magics prevailed. Their coven soon was darkness. 

My mother began to turn against him and he wound up taking Cicely’s life. But her spirit returned to her son, my brother, Neville and warned him of his father. We escaped during the war of the witches where Ulysses was defeated, or so we thought. When we arrived here I learnt that I was with child. Neville now being the Prince, named my son ... your father, after our supposedly dead father to remember him when he was good, before he took the magics and made them dark. But the evil was too strong, and Ulysses returned and Neville, was killed in a battle with Ulysses who had returned in in the body of his brother Antoin. He then took the body of my brother. That is when I and my son were banished. Ulysses spirit resides in my brother, and soon everyone feared him and his dark powers, but could not destroy him. When he left after you were born, no one knew where he went, or what he was doing. So I returned home to try and return the island back before the evil corrupted it. When he returned it was like my real father was back. I should had never trusted it. When evil inhabits the soul it is never the same after that....”

TIBERIUS- “Grandmother, do not blame yourself for this. He tricked everyone.”

ANICETA- “I should have known better, Tiberius. I say all this to warn you, You child, are a natural being of Ulysses I. Rocha means rock or minerals and His minerals or “gifts” are within you, Tiberius. But the gifts of your mother are also within you and those combined with the gifts of Rocha are what have caused this constant battle within you, the fight of good vs. evil. You must allow the good to overpower the evil, Tiberius, if not you... will allow the devil to return, return maybe even within you or one that you love.”

Jules is in Tiberius’ room, cleaning and she finds the spell bowl under his bed. She smells what is left of the contents, and takes it to Mila….

MILA- “There was definitely Witch Hazel, Diviner’s Sage and Vervain here, Jules. So do you think that he is casting spells of some kind?’

JULES- “I definitely think that, Mila and I can almost guarantee that he used some kind of mind compulsion on all of us.”

MILA- “Why haven’t we seen any outward signs that he has received vampiric gifts, Jules, this looks like it was just a simple spell? “

JULES- “Mila, we saw it when he was born, don’t you remember when they took his blood sample and the prick healed almost instantaneously? And the time he fell and hit his head on the table when he first started walking.  Within three minutes the knot on his head was gone, and there was no bruising.  We have been given indications, we just refused to believe that HE knew. Tiberius is a very intelligent child. He knows a lot more than we realize. 

MILA- “So why do you think he just compelled us and not just use a spell?”

JULES- “I think he is trying to see if he can compel me, but I don’t think he is strong enough yet...but if he keeps playing with this, he will be and it just isn’t safe for us, or for him! Don’t you think it was quite unusual that you Michael and Bea had decided just last night  to send the boys to Alexandria in the fall, and then out of nowhere this morning at breakfast you told them they were going to be staying in Willow Creek for a few years and go to school here.”

MILA- “You really think he did this, Jules?”

JULES- “Mila, what other explanation could there be.”

MILA- “I think it is time to talk to him.”

JULES- “Let me, he can not read my mind, me being a vampire. And I also think you need to talk to Michael and Bea, as I can almost bet that Joseph knows about all of this as well..”

MILA- “Okay, you talk to him and I will discuss this with Michael and Bebe...but I think it’s time we get him to Alexandria, Jules.”

In Joseph Boedell’s living quarters on the east side of the secured underground bunker another conversation was taking place...

Corbin Goth, the nephew of Alex Goth-Boedell through his brother Nicholas was in the room with Joseph. Corbin was on the council and was a mage of potions, he taught here at the school. 

CORBIN- “So why on earth would Alex invite him here?? Especially now, just two days before---

JOSEPH- “I don’t know Corbin. Grandfather not once mentioned that he was inviting him. I called Mother and she had no idea that he was invited also. Something is just not right.”

CORBIN- “I know ...Tiberius is powerful, but he certainly could not use his powers of compulsion on Alex all the way from Selvardorada.”

JOSEPH- “No, he couldn’t, but I do know that he and Tiberius have continued to communicate over the past eight years. Maybe he has convinced grandfather---

CORBIN- “Alex is not easily convinced of anything, Joseph. Especially by the one that caused so much damage to our coven, and the realm. Alex voted for his expulsion just like everyone else. You know how many died, Joseph.”

JOSEPH- “I know very well, Corbin, my father was one of them. But none of this makes sense. If I am to be the new Realm Master, you would think grandfather would have told me why he invited him here. He has something up his sleeve.”

CORBIN- “You mean Alex?”

JOSEPH- “No, I mean Tiberius. He somehow has convinced grandfather to allow him to come to the ceremonies, and he is planning something, I just know it.

CORBIN- “Joseph, you need to calm down. I will find out. But you need not let Tiberius know that you are worried about him being here.”

JOSEPH- “I am not worried, Corbin, I am afraid!!  Deathly afraid. Tiberius has no conscience, or moral compass. If he was to----

CORBIN- “Stop, Joseph...I love you more than anything in this entire world, and nothing is going to hurt you, Tiberius Boedell or not. I will see to it.”

JOSEPH- “Corbin, be realistic, we have no ace up our sleeve that can take care of him, I mean the only reason he left was because his mother begged him. If it wasn’t for her, those votes of the council meant nothing.

CORBIN- “Okay, I know all this, just calm down okay. Your grandfather wouldn’t do anything to put any of us in harm's way.  Whatever reason he has for bringing Tiberius here is good, if anything about Tiberius is good. But we have to trust Alex.”

With that he takes Joseph into his arms and kisses him.

JOSEPH- “I love you Corbin, always the voice of reason.”

TIBERIUS- “Do we know how these hybrids came about, and how are they multiplying?”

ALEX- “The witches that do not die from the bite of the vampire, instead turn. Their power becomes intensified, and they are lethal..”

TIBERIUS- “But they are not immortal.”

ALEX- “No, they can be killed, but—-

TIBERIUS- “No, I don’t care about anything else. If they are not immortal, they can be destroyed, and we must act quickly.”

CRISTINE- “But many are our own people that have been turned.”

TIBERIUS- “Then we must find a way to remove the vampiric curse from their bloodstream. Surely you have found something in my great uncles records in regards to this. Hell he was doing this 20 years ago when he was under the control of—-”

ALEX- “We have been working on an antidote, but to date we have not been successful. However, a few of us think that the ring that Michael obtained may hold the answer.”

TIBERIUS- “Then use it!”

CRISTINE- “Master Boedell, we all know what this ring can do to a normal witch if used, and worn over a period of time.”

TIBERIUS- “I am not a normal witch!”

ALEX- “That is why I have brought you here, Tiberius. You said yourself that you are not governed by the same laws as we are.”
