“Ah now I assure you, I don’t do this very often.” More so because Faust was a very busy man on most days. If he wasn’t locked away in his lab working on new variations of guns and explosives, or traveling to other lands to promote peace between kingdoms. But there were some days when he found himself in a nearby kingdom with the entire day left up to him. Being the kind of man that he is, Faust hated being too idle with his time. ‘Idle hands are the devil’s workshop,’ he would hear in the back of his head, thanks to his mother. Surely worse thoughts would creep into his mind if he was left to his own devices.
Thus, he took up space in a coffee shop, shuffling a deck of tarot in front of him. If he could focus on something else, on another person, then it wouldn’t be so bad. He had managed to catch the attention of a curious elf enough to start giving him a tarot reading. “Now we all have questions about our lives and it never hurts to look to an outside source. Now what’s been on your mind lately?”
