Does anyone else randomly remember stupid sh*t you’ve done while playing dnd and think ”I’m surprised that that situation didn’t escalate”?

Because I just remembered this one time my character slapped a jerk of a nobleman for insulting her father’s establishment (a nice little tavern) while four other nobility watched, along with a pretty large audiance.

Then to get out of trouble she used the ”i’m but an ignorant blind girl, and I’m terribly sorry for not realizing who you were, my lord” excuse and rolled high enough on a charisma check to convince everyone (except her friends and family, because they know her too well) that she had mistaken his voice for someone else.

In reality she didn’t give a flying f*ck about who the hell he thought he was, she just wanted to slap him in front of any and all onlookers for insulting her father.

She did get banned from the city he governed, but she didn’t care much about that.

You know, those Reader insert fanfics where reader-chan is blind? There are so few where the reader is a badass that can handle themselves like Toph from Avatar the Last Airbender. There needs to be more fics like that, anyone agree with me? Sure the character can worry but they know the reader can handle themselves. We need more blind reader fics where reader can kickass.

Frances:

With white eyes, Frances can only see heat, heat-infared vision being the only reason he can see. With that reasoning, he almost never blinks and can’t see expressions or most things, especially when it’s cold outside. When he does blink or close his eyes, he has two sets of eyelids, one almost transparent and the other one a dark blue. He has semi-long white hair and makes Nix do his makeup every day, even though he can never see how he looks. He has scars on his face because of running through trees as a child.
