#blind deaf

so one of my goals is to successfully train a blind or deaf (or both) dog some basic commands. i want to adopt one but im not in any hurry so im just mainly trying to let the dog come to me, but i recently realized id also like to own a therapy dog and bring them to places where TDs are needed like hospitals and whatnot. does the tumblr community think that a blind and/or deaf dog would be comfortable doing that? i know if varies based on the dog, and with the right upbringing and training and exposure a blind/deaf animal can do anything its abled counterparts can, but id just like to know if maybe anyone has seen a blind/deaf working dog? any help would be appreciated (:
