Day 55 - Dinner
The Listhus resident artists were invited to dinner at the house of Iceland artist, Aðalheiður Sigríður Eysteinsdóttir, in Siglufjordur. We enjoyed a delicious three-course feast whilst wearing black out goggles.
A meal of mystery colours.
Girls night out in the dark! I was pretty nervous in the beginning, as I didn't really know what to expect. The complete darkness is a little intimidating. All the waitstaff are blind, and for one night so are you. I don't know what I would do if I ever lost my sight permanently.
My table manners were horrible. I was eating with my hands, picking my teeth, and no one knew. It was pretty awesome ahahaha. The food was delicious, our server was funny, and the overall experience was fantastic. I would definitely do it all over again.
